I saw this post on Twitter and it made me realise just how much the couples from Twilight are similar to the ones in ACOTAR with their dynamics/vibes/personalities/stories.
Feyre/Rhysand & Bella/Edward
Both couples are the "It couple" from their respective series.
Both couples went through a difficult pregnancy where the woman nearly died.
Stephenie Meyer once explained that Edward used to always think that he didn't deserve happiness and that his relationship with Bella wouldn't last. Just like Rhys.
From a young age, Bella would take over most of the household responsibilities, feeling like she was the adult rather than RenƩe. You can say that this is similar to Feyre as she provided for her family at the start of ACOTAR, despite being the youngest.
Nesta/Cassian & Rosalie/Emmett
Nesta & Rosalie are both shown as the stereotypical bitchy female character (especially towards the main character of the series) before the audience gets to know them better.
Nesta & Rosalie are only "soft" around their love interest.
Nesta & Rosalie both have a past of SA.
Cassian & Emmett are both the playful and humorous characters in their groups.
Elain/Azriel & Alice/Jasper
Elain & Alice have similar powers as Elain is a seer meanwhile Alice has subjective precognition.
Elain & Alice are considerably the "sweetest" female characters in their respective series.
Azriel & Jasper are both the brooding and quiet male characters of their series.
