Suicide is an awful thing. Persons with mental illness HAVE to start to get the treatment they need. It's been proven over and over again that without proper treatment it is fatal. Sitting with bottles of pills crying just wanting the pain to end over and over again. People say it's a selfish way out. It's not. It feels like it's the only way to stop the constant daily pain. usually because pain is pushed down and carried around but is rarely if ever talked about. And all too often it's easier to just distance yourself from everyone. And everyone says you can just snap out of. If it was that easy don't you think we would ? Suicide is an awful thing. How many people do we have to lose before proper treatment is much more readily available. Please don't judge those with mental illness. Reach out. Acknowledge the pain even if you don't understand it, and unless you've gone or are going through it you never will, and be thankful for that. Tell the people you love and care about how special they are and how important they are in your life every day. Send flowers now, not when it's too late at the funeral. A card. A hug.
