It wasn’t often, especially not lately, that Vic got too much down time, and often wasn’t apt to spend it in the vampires’ territory. But he was intent on having a good time, and no one was really gonna stop him. He noticed the small girl in line outside calling to him was paused at the door by the doorman and he noted the man wasn’t buying her spiel, so he sighed, leaning forward to talk to the two of them. “C’mon now, guy, she clearly wants to get in. She’s old enough to be in here, it’s no big deal, and besides, if she wasn’t, she’d find a way in, and as you can clearly see, I’m waiting on her, I don’t do too well with being made to wait too long, you see her? Don’t wanna be a barrier between us, m’friend.”
Elora smiled when the other chimed in, a smile that seemed to emit some warmth that was enough to make the doorman smile in return, and allow her inside. She looked at the other, shining smile still in place. “Thank you, you really know how to help a damsel in distress.”
