'Cracks knuckles'. Okay, we're getting to Elmyra now! Yes, I know she's not well liked by the Tiny Toons fandom...but I also genuinely don't believe in hating characters unless absolutely necessary. Also, Elmyra means well. She's not evil. I can't bring it in myself to hate her. Without further ado, on with the headcanons!
-One of Elmyra's genuinely good qualities is that she's a very brave person. She can genuinely look at death in the eye and not flinch...especially if it's to protect those she loves.
-In addition to regular animals, Elmyra also really likes stuffed animals. She has a collection of them that have names and who she dotes on lovingly. That being said, she’s also destroyed quite a few of them…but can’t find it in herself to throw them away.
-Elmyra remains unaware of how much the Tiny Toons fandom dislike her. For their own safety (and maybe considering Elmyra’s feelings), the Tiny Toons have made it a point to make sure Elmyra never discovers how hated she is.
-The teachers of Elmyra are very much aware of how much unintentional harm Elmyra has done. They have all definitely considered expelling her…but ultimately, they know she genuinely means well and still has time to learn and grow from her mistakes.
-To explain why she works as a nurse at Acme Loo, Elmyra is genuinely talented as a medic and is perhaps the only one at Acme Loo that knows anatomy like the back of her hand. The only problem is her over-affectionate bedside manor.
-In addition to animals, Elmyra also really likes seashells and sea stars! She likes collecting them and is surprisingly competent when it comes to organizing them.
-She’s not very good with pop culture or referencing it. This is a genuine struggle and embarrassment for her, as she fears that she’ll be “one-note,” someday.
-Elmyra has a habit of chewing and biting things when she’s nervous or stressed. You’ll often find teeth marks on her pencils before upcoming tests.
-Elmyra has a vicious dislike for pounds/puppy mills. She has went on several missions to liberate the puppies that are being kept there. Often, these missions end in absolute chaos but the dogs are free! And that's all Elmyra cares about.
-The reason Elmyra is depicted as being a photographer in the Tiny Toons reboot is because she genuinely got into the hobby. Not only does she take photos of pets, she also takes photos of everyone and everything. She has a good eye for what makes a good photo and has her own darkening booth back at her house.
-For a brief time, Elmyra had a crush on Wakko Warner. It faded after a while, but she still has a special fondness for him.
-Elmyra is straight! Even so, she understands other sexualities that are different from her own and gladly supports them. The minute someone makes a homophobic/mean remark about different sexualities, she will immediately call them out.
