Seeing them in a four-panel comic really makes it easy to imagine how the characters move, and I feel like their personalities shine even more because of it! ✨

こんにちは！ あの悪魔の昔のコンセプトアートを見つけたよ！✨️

最初の手描きのイラストが、一番初期のデザインなんだ！ 当時はすでに人型ではあったけど、今よりも人間らしい見た目をしていたんだ。でも、そのままだとビルに「元は人間だった」ってすぐ気づかれそうだったし、見た目も少し年を取りすぎているように感じたから、あまり気に入らなかったんだ。

次に載せたバージョンは、今のデザインにかなり近いよ！ ただ、今より顔が少し長めだったかな。それに、この時点ですでに口ひげもあったんだけど、「本当に口ひげを付けるべきかな？」って当時はまだ迷っていたんだ。

ちなみに、この悪魔の見た目年齢は40代前半くらいをイメージしているよ！

I definitely think the mustache was the right choice! 👍 Since Bill and the others seem fairly young, making the demon look a little older creates a really nice balance. I think it was a great design decision!!

今のデザインがこんなに素晴らしいのは、そこにたどり着くまでにたくさんのアイデアや試行錯誤を重ねてきたからなんだと思う。キャラクターが進化していく様子が本当によく伝わってくるよ！🫶✨

やっぱり口ひげを付けたのは正解だったと思う！👍 ビルたちが比較的若く見えるから、悪魔の方を少し年上に見せることで全体のバランスがすごく良くなっているね。本当に良いデザインの判断だったと思う！！

That said, I genuinely enjoy cooking! It may not look fancy, but at least I don’t make bad-tasting food!

Baking, on the other hand? I’m absolutely hopeless. 🤣 Everything has to be measured perfectly? No thanks! lol

With regular cooking, you can just mix a few seasonings that work well together, and somehow it turns out delicious anyway. 😂

For some reason, I can totally imagine Joe being amazing at both baking and cooking. 😂

And Drix? I bet he’d cook like a professional chef. 🤣

私は料理は好きなんだけど、普段は自分が簡単に作れるものしか作らない。😂 栄養はあまり深く考えず、とりあえず適当に作っちゃうんだよね。🫠

でも料理そのものは本当に好き！ 見た目はおしゃれじゃないかもしれないけど、少なくとも不味いものは作らない！

一方、お菓子作りは本当に苦手。🤣

Sadly, my sister’s dog passed away shortly afterward and never got to see the next morning. But he fought so hard to keep living and to come back home. My sister also did everything she could to save him, even spending up to the limit on her credit card for his treatment. I have so much respect for both of them. 今回は、私のOCたちが登場する4コマ漫画を近いうちに投稿する予定なんだ！

この4コマは、あなたが描いていた4コマ漫画に影響を受けて作ったよ！ あなたの面白い4コマが本当に大好きだったんだ！🥰

内容は、「もしビルが、元ネタのアラスターみたいに鹿だったら？」というIFストーリーだよ。

ジョーダンとビルが鹿を見かけて、ビルが「もし悪魔が、自分をラジオ風のキャブ・キャロウェイ風モノクロ男じゃなくて、もっと動物寄りの姿にしていたらどうなっていたんだろう？」と考えるところから始まるんだ。

そして、ビルとジョーダンはそれぞれ「鹿バージョンのビル」の姿を想像するんだけど、実は悪魔が思い描いていた姿が一番正解に近いんだよ。

もしかしたら、その鹿バージョンのビルは、以前投稿したイラストで少しネタバレしちゃっていたかもしれないね！🤭

女性になっても、サラックスは細菌の基準では背が高いイメージなんだ。🌴

男性版エリーはデザインの参考資料があったから描きやすかったけど、女性版サラックスは試行錯誤しながら描いたよ！

I’m not sure if you knew the meaning behind them, but in Japan, cranes and turtles are traditional symbols of longevity, good fortune, and a happy, long-lasting marriage. They’re considered very lucky motifs! ❤️

So when I realized what the background was, I was genuinely amazed!! The amount of detail you put into it is incredible, and choosing that pattern was such a brilliant touch!! 😂💕 I seriously love it!!

How’s everyone doing?

I might not be able to draw or reply to comments for a few days!

If everything goes well, I’ll hopefully be back in about two or three days.

If things don’t go so well… it might take longer. Honestly, I have no idea! 😂

My older sister has a little dog.

He’s a 15-year-old Chihuahua! 🥹💕 A fluffy little white boy with soft brown markings on his forehead and the tips of his ears. Even so, he’s incredibly stubborn and full of attitude!! 😂 He’ll demand pets, then suddenly start growling because he’s decided he’s had enough. And whenever my sister and I are playfully messing around, he’ll leap at me like, “I’m protecting my mom!” Excuse me… I’m your mom’s little sister! 🤣

He still treasures the Rex plush from Toy Story that I gave him years ago. Well… as a pillow. 😂

Right now, though, he can’t breathe without a ventilator. I know my sister is the one hurting the most, but I’ve loved that little guy ever since he was about five years old, so this has been really hard for me too. I wasn’t with him every day, but even when he bit me, it honestly never hurt.

Seeing such a tiny little body struggling so hard… my aunt and I completely broke down crying in his hospital room. 😭 But I still believe he’ll be okay.

So… basically!

If he gets discharged from the hospital, I’ll probably be back to my usual self in about two days! 😂

That’s what my husband and I are hoping for, so we’ve come back home for now. My sister and her family are staying overnight at the hospital with him.

On the way home, we stopped for ramen!! 🍜

Late-night ramen was so good!

I hadn’t eaten anything since morning, so I was absolutely starving. 😂

I really don’t want to go to work tomorrow…

The project I’m working on right now has been really tough! 💦 Today was exhausting, and tomorrow will probably be just as busy.

By the way, I’m okay!

I’m just feeling a little more down than usual. I just wanted to explain why I might not be replying or posting any artwork for a little while. Considering I’m usually positive about everything… this is pretty rare for me, isn’t it? 😂

Once I’m feeling better, I need to get back to working on my manga and my little four-panel comics! ✨

親愛なる友人のみんなへ

みんな元気にしてる？

数日間は絵を描いたりコメントに返信したりできないかもしれません！

順調にいけば2〜3日くらいで戻れると思います。

もしそうじゃなかったら……もう少し長くなるかも。正直、自分でも分からないや！😂

実は姉がワンちゃんを飼っています。

15歳のチワワの男の子です！🥹💕 白くてふわふわで、おでこと耳の先にはほんのり茶色が入っています。でも、とっても気が強くてわがままなんです！！😂 撫でてと催促してきたかと思えば、急に「もう十分！」とでも言うように唸り始めます。そして姉と私がじゃれ合っていると、「ママは僕が守る！」と言わんばかりに飛びかかってきます。いやいや……私は君のお母さんの妹なんだけど！？🤣

私が昔プレゼントした『トイ・ストーリー』のレックスのぬいぐるみも、今でも大事にしています。……まあ、枕としてですが😂

でも今は人工呼吸器がないと呼吸ができません。一番つらいのは姉だと分かっています。でも私はあの子が5歳くらいの頃から可愛がっていたので、私にとっても本当につらいです。毎日一緒にいたわけではないけれど、噛まれても全然痛く感じないくらい大好きでした。

そんな小さな体で一生懸命頑張っている姿を見て……叔母と私は病室で大泣きしてしまいました😭 でも、きっと大丈夫だと信じています。

だからつまり！

もし退院できたら、私は2日くらいでいつもの元気な自分に戻っていると思います！😂

それを願って、私たち夫婦はいったん帰宅しました。姉たちは病院で付き添っています。

帰りにラーメンを食べてきました！！🍜

深夜のラーメンは最高でした！

朝から何も食べていなかったので、お腹がペコペコでした😂

明日仕事に行きたくないなぁ……

今やっているプロジェクトが本当に大変なんです！💦 今日もヘトヘトだったし、明日もきっと忙しいと思います。

ちなみに私は元気です！

I loved you so much that I couldn’t hold myself back.”

Maximus blinked in surprise. “That was the reason?”

Pneumoniac turned his face away. “You’ll always be a White Blood Cell, no matter what… But I’m different. And besides…”

Maximus tilted his head. “Besides?”

Without turning back, Pneumoniac muttered, “If I had to see your face every single day… there’s no way I’d be able to keep my self-control…”

Pneumoniac still had his face turned away, so Maximus shouldn’t have been able to read his expression. Yet the bright red tips of his horns gave him away, making it obvious how embarrassed he was. Resting the ring on his left hand against his forehead, Maximus smiled and said, “Then, as a proper White Blood Cell… I’ll just have to keep you under constant observation from now on.”

Pneumoniac still couldn’t see Maximus’s expression, but the warmth in his voice told him he was smiling.

Maximus and the Pneumoniacは結婚したらまずは別々で住むと思う。Maximusはてっきり一緒に住むと思っていたから、豆鉄砲くらった鳩みたいな顔をしながらも「あぁ...そうか。分かった。」と口ではいうけど内心納得がいかない。しばらくしてMaximusがPneumoniacに問いただすんだ。「何故一緒に暮らさないんだ？俺たちは夫婦なんじゃないのか？」

Pneumoniacはまさか利己的なMaximusからそんなこと言われると思わなかったからビックリして辿々しい感じでこう答える「俺と暮らしたら、お前が奇異な目で見られるだろ」と。プロポーズしたのは本当に感情のまま、Maximusが好き過ぎて抑えれなかったから。と小さく付け加える。

Maximusは目をまん丸くして「そんな事が理由だったのかい？」

Pneumoniacは顔を背けて「お前は腐っても白血球様だろ。...でも俺は違う。それに.....」

Maximus「それに？」

Pneumoniac「毎日アンタの顔見て、理性が抑えれるわけねぇだろ...」

Pneumoniacは顔を背けたままだったから表情は読み取れないはずなのに、角の先まで真っ赤だったので手に取るように彼の表情が分かった。Maximusは左手の指輪を額に当てながら「なら白血球らしく、これからは君を常に監視下におかないとね。」

その表情は左手で読み取れなかったが、声が弾んでいることは分かった。
