Manon it is! The snippet looks lovely - I am continually amazed by how Christina has improved as a skater (her knee bend in that clip!) but also as a dancer. She used to be rather stiff and flailing, and she shows complete control here.

Random personal post but a local ballet school (which is a non-profit) wants to expand into a larger building and are having a fundraiser! They do very important work with their stated goal being to increase diversity in ballet, and allow access to everyone through scholarship programs. Their students get to participate in 2 full-length ballets per year plus a fun recital. Overall it's a great program, and if you or someone you know would like to help them out, here's the link!

Now do we think that little heart is covering up the name of CPom’s FD or is that just coincidence, because if it isn’t coincidence there’s a gorgeous ballet beginning with M that we don’t see in skating often if at all but would fit their modus operandi very nicely…

I certainly hope these Grand Prix assignments are not indicative of USFSA going all in on Z/K to the detriment of everyone else (the obvious thing to do to try and ensure CPom also make the final would have been to get them to Skate America too)

Ballroom dancing girly here quite impressed with CPom’s day off waltzing…strong lead and follow, down in the knees, Christina’s got a lovely big topline and smooth head positioning, Anthony understands heel leads in the footwork though he needs to get that elbow out further, he’s hugging Christina too far around the back with the arm and it makes his frame droop…but overall I was pleasantly surprised! That can’t have been their first time. They’ll smash DWTS after winning their 2030 OGM.
