Imagine having to put out a statement like this FOUR MONTHS after a member's departure because a large portion of your fandom suddenly hates you and won't accept you as a six member group, because they think they know what happened better than you do. Do you OT7 people even realize what kind of psychological abuse you are participating in towards the remaining members? Yes, this is a case of mass bullying. I'm calling it for what it is. You are abusing your so called favorite group.

He's literally looking away because it's painful for him to even have to address this in the first place. That's what it looks like when somebody is trying to stay professional and not burst out in tears because they are shouldering a burden they shouldn't have to shoulder in the first place.

Regarding Jay's jersey

“Jay’s Jersey had 7 on it and he pointed it out after the OT7 fanchant!!!” He wore a jersey tailored specifically to Vinícius Jr., Jay’s favorite Brazilian football player (because they were in Brazil), whose number officially happens to be seven. That’s it. That’s all there was to it.

"But Jay's the one who said there are no coincidences in K-pop!" He was referring to things like album comebacks and concept lore. Good grief. Not a former member that left the group 4 months ago who's already made his solo debut or secretly signaling that he wants y'all to keep protesting. He's already very bluntly spoken up about the harassment from OT7s, or did y'all forget that already?

Regarding the OT7 fanchant

To all the OT7s going “Enhypen said Brazil was the best country they’ve been to, cry harder”:

the guys had in-ears during the fanchant, couldn’t hear it, and hyping the crowd up at that point in the song is literally their job

with the guys being as chronically online as they are + their habit of monitoring themselves onstage, how long do you think it’s gonna take for them to discover Brazilian concert-goers did the OT7 fanchant instead of the new one? And they are not gonna be happy about it.

Now, regarding the OT7 fanchant, how it IS absolutely disrespectful, and you dense assholes are deliberately, maliciously playing dumb and refusing to get the point or take a goddamn hint.

It was right up there, on screen, for everyone in the audience to read and learn the official fanchant, and they couldn't even do that OR proncounce the members' names properly.

ENHYPEN have explicitly said they want ENGENE to follow the updated fanchant. Continuing to do the OT7 fanchant is disrespecting their direct wishes.

"I'm not doing the OT6 fanchant" "who tf is saranghae?" "Saranghae, my ass" You're all really showing your colors out here and being deliberately, maliciously willfully ignorant. "Saranghae" is literally Korean for "I love you". "ENHYPEN saranghae" = "ENHYPEN, I love you". It's showing support for ENHA as their new lineup and that ENGENE still have their backs. If you outright refuse the new official fanchant, you are deliberately being a rude as fuck, disrespectful asshole who does not actually care about ENHYPEN.

The 10. March 2026 announcement + Heeseung's follow-up letter made it clear that Heeseung leaving the group was a mutual arrangement between himself and Be:Lift Labs. ENHYPEN members' reactions in following Weverse lives when addressing the subsequent harassment they've received nonstop has also made it clear that Heeseung left by choice to go solo. Be:Lift confirmed on 15 March 2026 that Heeseung is not returning to ENHYPEN.

EVAN has his own fanchant and his own fandom, EVERs. ENHYPEN have adjusted their official fanchant to reflect the fact he left the group and will not return (which is normal in K-pop when a member leaves a group). ENHA have officially rebranded, have The Sin: Bliss coming out in August, and it's very likely they've already renewed their contracts on their terms and conditions (which does not, obviously, include Heeseung).

You don't hear the OT7 ENHYPEN fanchant at EVAN's stages and official performances. Very strange double standard.

"But it's to honor his past with the group!!!" Oh? They why only perform it at ENHYPEN's events and not EVAN's? He had 6 years with ENHYPEN before going solo. Don't you want to honor his past with his former members at his events?

What's that? That would be disrespectful to mention ENHYPEN to his face?

Then why the fuck are you all so comfortable constantly harassing ENHYPEN by doing the OT7 fanchant (which y'all have adopted and reframed as a deliberate protest) at their venues? Bringing up Heeseung whenever any of the members are on Weverse live? Sending protest trucks to the HYBE building when ENHA are currently out of South Korea? Disrupting Jay's birthday live to the point he had to call y'all out on your bullshit and he was visibly struggling to remain professional while doing so?

"But EVAN's not with the group, so it's disrespectful to perform the OT7 fanchant at his solo performances. They're not involved with his music." You are so, so close to getting the point. And yet. r/woosh.

Other OT7 behavior

"They're erasing Heeseung!" Oh? Then, pray tell, what exactly do y'all call this shit?

To those who are deliberately being dense or otherwise don’t get the point: some Brazilian “fans” were editing out Jay—a current member and ENHA's now-eldest hyung—to replace him with Heeseung on a banner, knowing full well that ENHYPEN would see it onstage.

What the fuck.

How do you think the members onstage would feel if they saw that? Jay? Jungwon? Sunoo?

Heeseung still has all his album credits on their previous albums, including The Sin: Vanish. He's still credited on albums from Border: Day One up to The Sin: Vanish. He's still credited as producer and backing vocalist on "Bite Me", as songwriter on "Highway 1009", etc.

Nobody is "erasing" that. His work on all their previous albums still exists, I assure you.

The audacity of OT7s to pay for a concert with the 6-member lineup, knowing that Heeseung left four months ago and has already made his soloist debut, only to pull this shit and use ENHA’s 100th concert AND their first-ever concert in Brazil as another means and stage for their bullshit protest.

I feel so bad for ENHYPEN. This was their 100th concert. They were on the plane for over 24 hours, and this was how they were treated by Brazilian so-called "fans"?

I hope they never go back, bc they don’t deserve that level of sheer disrespect.

And, frankly, I hope that Be:Lift finally decides enough is enough and sues everybody who’s protesting and harassing the members online, because OT7s have zero shame and are outright bragging about how they directly intend to interfere with ENHYPEN’s right to make a living.

ENHYPEN have moved forward as six. Heeseung has moved forward as EVAN.

The fandom should do the same. If you cannot, unstan. There's the fucking door. Leave. Make sure it hits you on the way out.

Nobody is forcing you to continue supporting ENHYPEN if all you care about is Heeseung. He has his own solo work as EVAN with two singles already out and his debut album releasing in September.

Go support him and leave ENHYPEN the fuck alone.

P.S. The members' silence on their personal social media accounts about the São Paulo concert sure is deafening. Jay and Jake made brief posts about it, but AFAIK Sunghoon, Ni-ki, and Sunoo have not (as of yet).

Jungwon usually has a long post after concerts that he addresses to ENGENEs. There was no such post this time: he only posted that he had fun with the Brazilian flag and posted a selfie. In his 06. July 2026 Weverse live, Jungwon was definitely yapping about Peru but their 100th concert in São Paulo? Nada, other than the fact it was drizzling before their performance and replying to a fan saying they were at the Brazil concert with "I don't know when the next performance in Brazil will be, but if we do have one, I hope you definitely come." That was it: a very neutral comment.
