Life update!

1. My BIL got married to the sweetest girl this past weekend & their wedding was so pretty! I was their wedding coordinator and it was super fun to do that. If only I could make real money doing that full time.....

2. We saw family for the first time since Christmas 2019 and everyone made a point to be vaccinated prior to traveling so we got to hug and drink wine on the patio of our Airbnb and it was lovely.

3. Prior to the wedding, my inlaws stayed with us for a few days & basically bought us everything else we needed for our house. Lawn mower, weed eater, electric garage door opener, plants, and furniture. And they cleaned my garage and house while we were working. I love them so stinking much.

4. IM GOING TO BE AN AUNT! My new SIL is 22wks and having a little girl. I have officially gone overboard and bought out Kate Quinn & SpearmintLove. The baby clothes are just toooooo sweet! I cannot wait to snuggle this little girl and spoil her rotten!

5. I’m working at my old fertility job officially part time now. So 3 12’s at the hospital and 2 days at the clinic. It’s exhausting but I really wanna pay my credit card off, and we are going on a few vacations this year that we need to save for. It’ll be worth it.

Huge lightbulb moment happened today in marriage counseling and it has me SO hopeful.

This was taken last Friday after a particularly difficult day and we said “fuck being responsible” and went to our favorite French restaurant for happy hour.

I love this picture of us even though I hate the fact I don’t have makeup on, and I look exhausted (side note: I was & worked the night before & didn’t sleep after).

We moved into our new house today!

It poured rain the entire time, the movers left our washer & dryer and we broke a few plates BUT

we moved!

And now I hope I don’t have to do that for at least another 5 years.

Haha. Hahahahahaha.

Our brand new house that we haven’t even closed on is infested with ants because the dumbass construction workers leave their lunch shit all over our kitchen. Our walls, trim and ceiling aren’t painted , my kitchen countertops are the wrong color and CROOKED & we have our walkthrough on Friday morning. Oh and because they only gave us 6 days notice prior to closing, I can’t find a fucking inspector in time.

Hi my life is chaos right now but that’s ok because I get to move into my new home next week.

Y’all I love living in Alabama but fuck I hate tornado season.

Currently at my BFF’s @concernedcatlady apartment because she has a way better set up.

And of course I work the next 3 nights so I have gotten basically no sleep 😩😩😩

The house saga continues......

They installed the wrong countertops AND after reviewing our contract, the agent put in the wrong color for our countertops. Which is the color they installed. So now my kitchen is going to look ugly AF with these brown countertops and brown cabinets and brown flooring

Ha hahaha hahaha

Our original completion date was March 5. Yes. This Friday. We’ve been so excited.

Got an email today saying it was pushed back now. By THREE WEEKS.

I hate building a house.

I got THE BEST NEWS last night and it has had me PUMPED all night at work. UGH I CANT WAIT
