Shade me for early kid bedtime, parenting him I die on all you want but at least I don’t make play date plans for 9am then message at 845 and say my kid still won’t get out of bed (!!) because he got to bed late last night and you’ll be late then leave you wondering and sitting around almost an hour late to be inconvenienced.

Big kid went to solo grandparents last Thursday -Sunday then my dad brought her home Sunday and got the little one. Little has been at grandparents solo Sunday - tomorrow. And honestly. It’s admittedly been a breath of fresh air for everyone. 🥴 We have about 3 (!!) more weeks of summer left and one of those they have a camp. And the other I think I’m going to plan a handful of out of the house fun things? Idk. But it was so so helpful in actually 1. Us enjoying them solo/them getting one on one attention and 2. Them having a decent break from each other that will HOPEFULLY allow them to play nicely/remember they maybe missed each other when they’re back together? Hopefully. lol.

Reminder ladies, that when you set the bar super low in appearance (ie, zero makeup and bum clothes mode 98% of the time) then throw on some mascara, dangly earrings and a comfy summer dress you feel like a million bucks to both you and the outside world. 😂

Welp. Panic-bought some supplies to make a small backpack “period kit” for Big because I’ve been hearing about sooo many girls in her class or friends getting their periods and although we openly talk about it often I’m scared she’ll get it at school this year! Anyone else done this? Any ideas I’ve missed? Going to do period underwear, pads, and some flushable small travel sized wipes in a small zip pouch for her backpack just in case.

I say it all the time but ewwwwwww it’s stupid how good and productive and motivating moving your body first thing in the morning makes you feel for the rest of the day. Dipped my toes back in the water with a 15 min full body NML rando. Not sure my schedule moving forward but I’m thinking randoms then a scheduled program once the kids are back in school.

I tried to make my husband watch Voicemails for Isabelle and he ruined it 😂 He mocked the first half we watched together the other night so I’m finishing it myself IT’S SO CUTE OMG

Whenever my husband is on a trip for more than ~2 ish weeks I pick a new hobby or fixation and the next one is going to be canning I think!?

Can’t decide if our 12 year old lab is getting progressively more deaf every day or if she truly is at the idgaf stage of life and just doesn’t want to listen anymore when she was/is/has always been a literal perfectly mannered angel? Both? Sad.
