Babysitting || Callie & Elle
"And so you damn well should, youâve just had two kids, and you got back to your pre-pregnancy dress size in no time. Have fun, and me and the little princesses will see you in a few hours." Callie said before Elle left for her date.Â
The next few hours Callie spent fussing over the girls, she gave them both their bottles, and then got them changed into fresh new babygrows for bedtime. Both Stella and Scarlet seemed to have taken to the Latina; but then she had always been good with kids. She had a lot of baby cousinâs growing up, and was a total little Mommy to her younger sister when she was born. She had always adored children. Once the girls settled down she settled down on the couch with a coffee and a copy of Gone Girl that she was determined to finish before she watched the movie; even if that meant watching the Movie 6 months later than everyone else.Â
Callie heard the door go and set her book down looking up as Elle walked through the door. âHey! â How did your daâ- Oh, really? that bad huh? What happened? â- do you want a coffee? I just made a fresh pot.â Callie asked, getting up and going over in the direction of the kitchen.
"The girls just went down about 45 minutes ago, I changed their onesies and they both had their feeds â- Stella left a little, fell asleep mid-feed, bless the little munchkin, and Scarlet brought a little back up, but she settled okay, think she just drunk it a teeny bit too fast." She said wanting to make sure she never missed out any important stuff.
"Yes, coffee. I would love that after the not so great night I had..." She admitted with a laugh as she took off her coat and shoes, and made her way to the couch, sighing heavily. Once she had her coffee, she took a long sip of it, and then began to tell Callie how her night went.Â
"Well, at first, the date was going perfectly fine. We were exchanging stories, and laughs, and the whole 9 yards. But then, in the middle of our meal, let's just say I started leaking..." a blush redder than a tomato began to form on the girls cheeks.
"That had to be the most embarrassing way of letting somebody know that i'm the mother of two new borns." She added on, rubbing her hand over her forehead in disgrace.
