Ellie Monroe

There wasn't much on her mind at the moment other than the discomfort she was in, but then again being towards the end of one's pregnancy was uncomfortable. As the sounds of Jake's favorite TV show filled the air, she winced and nodded at her fiance's suggestion. "Thanks and you know I'll never turn down a massage from you," she gave a weak smile as she placed a hand right under her right ribs to help the pain. "Yeah, hopefully that'll help, this just feels different. If I don't feel better after the bath, maybe I'll give the doc a call?" She asked, a weak smile forming before kicking off her shoes without bending down, something she had gotten good at over the past few months, "you sure you don't mind?"

"That and the eyes, and don't even get me started on the smile," reaching up to gently squeeze his chin, shaking it ever so slightly. In fact there was nothing about him that didn't make her swoon, each and every day she thanked her lucky stars for him. Nodding as they walked along, she chuckled and rubbed his back with her free hand. The walking made her tired and she was glad they were almost done with their walk. "I will never say not to a back massage," she playfully groaned, "and I'm looking forward to the Dino nuggets. Baby is hungry." She giggled as they made their way to the car.

It was really hard for Ollie, the male hid behind a brick wall. A wall so strong that it rarely came down. There a few people who had seen his true personality and self and one of those people was Elizabeth. He hated it was hard for him and Ollie deep down the reason why he was that way. "Often people think am cold and emotionless. Plus, I can sometimes come across as intimidating," he replied as a sigh escaped his lips.

Having known Ollie for years, Ellie had been able to get glimpses of who he truly was. And she also knew that not many people had gotten to know him or his circumstances. "Oh stop, you're definitely not that way. People just gotta realize that and also you gotta let other people in. To see the real you Ollie."

blushing as he kissed d her cheek she then replied, "I don't know. I think Jake's dad is quite charming. And pretty hot too." She winked back at him before turning the stroller down the path back to their car. "Oh is it now? Will damn if I wasn't already pregnant," he mused, biting her lip as she way he'd his hand on her belly, the baby inside moving a bit at his touch. Her life was even better than she had imagined it as a kid, a wonderful and thoughtful partner in life and an amazing son. And another child on the way, it was just perfect. "Let's see how this one goes and we'll circle back," she reached up to cup his cheek before laughing. "It is a lot of work, and tiring too," she put a hand on her lower back and stretched a bit, her back muscles tight from carrying the weight of her stomach. Humming as Emerson joked about Dino nuggets and ranch, she got hungry all of a sudden, "he does know how to share. So I think you'd be in the clear."

"Well, I believe its in the best friend handbook that say's Elizabeth is right and I have to know my friend well," he teased with a smile with a grin on his face before a chuckle escaped his lips and a small sigh. "That's true....It's harder than it seems to be honest," he added shrugging his shoulders. "I wonder who people do it, put themselves out there".

As Oliver spoke, Ellie grinned, "absolutely, and likewise my friend." She reached out to pat his arm gently. "I get it," she confessed, "it's hard to put yourself out there. But sometimes you just have to and not even worry about it."

"You're counting, I'm sure of it," he grinned. He could still remember how it was with Aidan and Dylan, excitement and worries all rolled into one. "Dylan is asking about Jake, by the way. I think she wants to do another repeat of the chaos they caused last time. Again, I apologize about the mess in your living room," Tristan said with an apologetic look. Even though it was probably to be expected, with four dogs and two three-year-olds in one place, he still felt slightly bad about the living room and the mess they left behind. "There's definitely still time. I wish him the best of luck," he joked, then moving back slightly as their food arrived, thanking the waitress before they left. "Hey. Desk job isn't that bad. Can't believe I'm saying that, meetings and scheduling are a nightmare. But, low stress. Most of the time," he chuckled.

"Oh of course," she teased, giving her brother a wink as she took a sip of her water before returning the cup to the table. "Hm, looks like we just gotta get you guys back over then. And no sweat, though Jake did learn a few new words after I stepped on a lego. So it was a great teaching moment," she said with a laugh before waving him off. It was a fun afternoon despite the chaos of all the dogs and kids, with only two adults to rein it all in. "You might have to tell him that yourself, he'll believe you more than me," she shrugged before eyeing the food that arrived and thanking the waitress as well. "It's a different kind of stress, and it might stress me out even more. Knowing I can't be out there actually helping."

He had such a way with words, that she'd melt at them anytime he spoke. That combined with they way he'd look at her? It absolutely made her weak in the knees. Each and every damn time. "This is exactly how we got here," she teased and pointed to her stomach, "with that smile and your words." She playful shook her head and just grinned, taking it all in. As they walked along, she could hear their son giggling on Emerson's shoulders at something random, which of course was the best according to Ellie. "Me too," she nodded, as being one of four kids, she had grown up in a hectic household and loved the chaos of it all, so being able to have a few of her own had always been a dream of hers. "Five more huh? Looks like we have some catching up to do," she chuckled, still pretending Jake was invisible. "Sounds good; I think that'll do the trick," she grinned as Jake did the same, "I think it'll be a dino nuggets kind of night."

She nodded and hummed, a smile curling on her lips as she felt his own lips against her head. There was nothing quite like seeing the love of your life becoming a father and then one for the second time. The way he interacted with their son was her favorite, their shared laughs and smiles, the way he comforted him after a fall or nightmare. There was no one she'd rather go on this journey with, than Emerson. "I'm excited for it, all over again," she beamed and then laughed, "don't tempt me mister," she tapped him on the chest playfully, smirking at him at the same time. "She totally would, especially with all of our blue eyes," looking at Emerson before her eyes flickered down to their son, her heart bursting with love for them both. Her cheeks blushed at the way he spoke, then she looked over at Jake and beamed. Watching them, she laughed and pretended not to see him up on Emerson's shoulders. "Hmmm I think first we should try to find Jakey," she teased and looked about as she pushed the empty stroller, "maybe eat at home that way maybe he'll wander home and we'll be there for him."

One thing Ellie hated about being an edult was grocery shopping. It was a chore and she hated having to make decision on what to buy and how much to spend. And with a toddler it just made things harder, making sure he ate the right foods and the healthiest of foods. Plus being pregnant, she had to do the same for herself. Armed with a list, she perused the aisles and got what she needed. But not before seeing a familiar face she wanted to avoid, and she did a good job of. Except when getting the last few items on her list, various fruits to stock the fridge with. "You know, assuming anything is never good. But then again you don't need any more of an excuse to make an ass out of yourself."

"Barely alive. Barely," he replied with a laugh. He then caught the napkin that was tossed in his direction, laughing a bit more. "Oh, they do. But, a confirmation about pregnancy hormones is definitely nice. Now I know that I should avoid you for the next nine months," he joked. He would never avoid her, or any of his siblings. Not if he could help it. The smile that came after was sincere as he nodded. "Always, Ellie. You know that. You can call me anytime," his tone showed no hint of any jokes though it only lasted a moment, not wanting to be too serious for too long, as the mischievous glint returned. "Although, if it's about any cravings, don't call me. Like, at all. I will not answer," he grinned. He wouldn't be Ellie's first choice when it came to that anyway. That was Emerson's department, not his. "Yeah. Just something quick. I gotta return to the office after this," he nodded as well. "Isn't a neutral decoration the thing now? Or is that just me?" he then said, chuckling slightly.

"Barely? Geez," she winced and placed a hand over her chest feigning shock and disappointment, chuckling as he caught the napkin. Nodding she chewed on her lip, "eh less than nine months but who's counting?" But she was glad they could joke like this, thankfully all of the siblings were on good terms to a degree and she wouldn't change a thing. "Thanks, and likewise, I'm always here for you. And your kids, ya'll mean the world to me," she smiled enjoying the ebb and flow of the conversation and the mixture of joking and seriousness. "Oh I think Emerson has that covered, with the cravings and such. Though thankfully I haven't had any crazy ones as of yet but there's still time," and Emerson was a champ anyway, or so he was when she was pregnant with Jake. This time around, they shall both see. "Sounds good, and same. I'll milking it to be out on duty for as long as I can before they shove me behind a desk somewhere."

"So why do I have a feeling that as my best friend you will now be on a mission to help me be more social and fun," he teased and smiled before chuckling at his friends words. "I totally get it. Being a mom does change social life a bit," he added with a sigh. "True, also this is the person that has sweets like once every few months."

"Because you're right and you know me so well," she teased, reaching out to give him a soft squeeze on his arm. "Nothing wrong with getting out there and putting yourself out there," she shrugged a bit, "and it does. In some cases it's harder but in other cases, you make new friends with parents of kids too." Nodding she understood, "yeah and I feel that."

Teagan hummed, letting her fingers run over a few of the outfits. "I guess that makes sense. "And without scratchy tags." She added, nose crinkling when Ellie mentioned blowouts. She couldn't say she was looking forward to dealing with any of those. While she'd gotten better at babysitting, a newborn was a totally different ballgame. "---Can I pass on that?" The blonde asked hopefully over her shoulder, before an arm was slung around her neck. Leaning into the affectionate gesture, Teagan couldn't help the smile that tugged at her lips. "I know, I know." She wasn't the best at expressing her feelings back, even when she felt the same. She hoped her sister knew how much she loved her. @elizabethxmonroe

"Yeah," she half smiled at her sister, "exactly. Can't have a baby fussy over the tags. But it'll irritate their skin." One needed to make sure a baby's skin wouldn't get irritated or they wouldn't get hurt but the material since they couldn't express that it felt uncomfortable. She laughed at her sisters reaction to a blowout, "tell me about it. With Jake's first, I was not prepared to say the least," she then made a face and shuddered remembering it like it was yesterday. "Maybe, just pray you're not around when it happens. Because I might just pass the buck and make you do it," she was only teasing but she couldn't help it. Hugging her sister, she gave her a soft squeeze. "Good, because I won't let you forget it."

"I think it'd be exciting to know," glancing up at the love of her life, "we can pick out names and start setting up the nursery." She was confident that they would be ex ited either way, knowing or not knowing as well as if they were having a boy or girl. Humming fir a second she laughed, "exactly. Never too early to start to prepare too. Plus we can only use so much of his stuff on a girl," not that a newborn knew the difference or cared, but after a while she'd want to start dressing up a little girl in pink and bows and the like. Closing her eyes at his touch, a smile formed on her features, "you're pretty great yourself there," in fact she thought he was the best and the best part of her. "I'd say we're both very lucky, and we got lucky with Jake too." @emersonreinhart

"Awesome. I seriously need to learn and need to be more social. I need a social life again," he spoke letting out a sigh. Ollie really meant it. He needed to be social and he was trying to make new friends and be around people. "Hey, I was trying to be healthy and stopped eating cereal and I just got used to not eating cereal."

"That you do, Ollie," she nodded and, "though a three year old and a pregnant lady ain't too much if a social circle." She chuckled a bit and playfully elbowed him, as most of her own social circle revolved around her family and coworkers and the occasional friend. "Touche, but nothing wrong with indulging sometimes."

Ollie could not help but chuckle and laugh loudly. Well it was indeed true. Elizabeth was his best friend and she did know him well. He smiled shaking his head after laughing. "Great, let me know when you are free and we can all hang out," he added. "It is and thinking about it, I had not eaten cereal in a long time."

"Most definitely, I know I'll be free for a while coming soon," she said as she patted her bump, "gonna be on desk duty soon which we both know I'm going to hate." She said with a laugh and an eye roll, "wait you haven't had cereal in a long time? Dude just because you're a founding family member doesn't mean cereal is beneath you!"
