i recently made a post saying that when i was 18, i wrote a harry potter fanfic and was considering re-uploading it to AO3.

i understand that this has made many people upset, which was not ever my intention, and i have since taken down that post. i want to clarify that i don't support jkr at all, i don't buy her merch or do anything that benefits her financially. i haven't for years.

as a queer person myself, i am immensely supportive of the lgbtq+ community. it makes me incredibly upset that people think i am homophobic or transphobic. this is not true at all.

i am well aware of the horrible things that JKR has written in her books, as well as her influence politically, and i am not uncomfortable with talking about it. she is not a good person. i have never claimed she was.

i am truly sorry if my post has come across as meaning that i am pro-anything she believes. i am not. i will say that 1,000 times over.

my account has never been harry potter oriented, but obviously i will not be uploading any content relating to it in the future.

i hope that anyone who sees this understands my love and admiration for the lgbtq+ community. i am sorry if i ever made anyone think i could feel otherwise.
