I also love that this card matches with Female Lavellan’s character card, like he’s gently taking her hand, what she’s offering. The both of them holding staffs and in a peaceful forest.

But there’s another layer because that card, while called “the Heirophant,” actually had the iconography of “The Fool” card, the first card in the deck, the card of starting over and youthful optimism.

 So combined, the card of him falling in love has this complicated double meaning of “god himself is a hopeful fool because he fell in love.”
