Work was never boring, that much was for certain. Claire actually enjoyed being a bartender. She enjoyed seeing the beings come and go. She enjoyed hearing the stories that she heard. Plus, anything was better than being stuck in her room. She found most of the beings she ran into intriguing, more than anything. And, she was good at her job, which made things easier. She didnât get into trouble too much, and she did her best to make sure every customer left happy. Which, didnât always happen, but she tried. So, when she heard someone approach her, she turned around, and offered them a smile. âHow can I get you, tonight?â she asked kindly.

It was rare that Eli went out to get a drink by himself. Between always working, being with Mia or pestering one of his friends, he never actually made time for himself. But, with Gen and Mia hogging the apartment for a girlâs night, Eli found himself out in the city by himself and wandering into Last Call. Finding a stool at the bar he took a seat and grabbed a hand full of whatever communal snack was in the bowl on the bar. He threw the mix into his mouth and dusted his hand off on his jeans, smiling as the bartender turned around. âHey uhââ he squinted up at the board. âYou got any new beers on tap?â he asked curiously.Â
