YOU FORGOT THE BEST PART

Currently watching s17 ep8 of Murdoch mysteries. Man the woods HATE Julia. In earlier seasons, babe goes into the woods for a bachelorette party once, and they find a murderer. Another time, she goes into the woods, finds Eva Pearce (rip Ms. Pearce) and is yet again almost murdered. THEN in s17, her and the other Girlbosses of Toronto (Louise, Effie, Violet) go to Violets cabin on a summer retreat and find a murdered Girl Scout leader, an insane Boy Scout leader, a misleading woodswoman, and an actual murderous child.

As the years go by it is just funnier and funnier how Murdoch apparently Cannot Be Inspector due to Catholic discrimination.

Violet: Julia, can you come collect your freak of a man please? He’s doing things.

I think the best part about Concocting A Killer (Watts's introduction episode) is that he was canonically a rookie detective at that point.

the A and B plots on murdoch mysteries are incredible.

Also, I love that everyone just accepts Watts is going to eat on cases.

Everything about this scene is a masterpiece to me. Watts opening the door half-dressed, the man announcing his presence like they're not gay in the 1900s, Henry and Watts's face in response.
