The band's main concept is loosely based on a real-life person in their scene who's considered a poser and a sellout who has an extremely high opinion of themselves (to the point of self-love (not that kind, get your mind out of the gutter)), and arrogantly looks down on others, perceiving everybody as inferior to him.
Going off of that idea, I thought that I'd evoke the myth of Narcissus, who fell in love with his own reflection in the water. In order to amplify the exaggerated idea of self-worth (Narcissus loved himself but he was considered very beautiful to begin with, this is based on a Dunning-Kruger type), I made the reflection that of an angel. Of course, I didn't want to draw some silly dude with wings and a halo so I did a Biblically-accurate angel (which I didn't know was a meme, actually). I changed the angel up a bit by making it in the shape of a trefoil knot, one of my favorite symbols which I learned about in more detail while researching my paper on mathematical knot theory in college. The white oval on the very right represents God, or whatever deity there is. It kind of looks like Unicron from the OG Transformers movie. The light the angel emanates and projects is received by an undeserving individual, which results in rot and smoke and death in his wake (the dark stuff on the left).
