BLAKE: if i don't make a headline when i go out i consider my night to be a failure tbh

BLAKE: i don't know how i got there but i'm glad i did snoop dogg could run for president and would get my vote in a heartbeat

BLAKE: if kraft make and cheese put pot in their products that would be a problem but there's pot in these brownies

ELI: so having a chill not is considering being a failure?

ELI: you should be writing a book

ELI: honestly.....imagine if we had him as a president right now....I'll probably be going to walmart to buy weed

“the only reason why you aren’t thrilling company is because you’re too focused on trying to run me away. It’s been years and you still can’t give me a yes and then you proceed to dodge around the question on why you can’t.” He sighed deeply. “I’m not asking you for you hand in marriage Amara.”

BLAKE: i'm ashamed to admit it but getting baked at home is probably a lot better then going to 1oak

BLAKE: who needs 1oak when you have pot brownies, mac and cheese, and a whole youtube playlist of snoop dogg narrating planet earth

ELI:this honestly sounds like my weekend

              amara rolled her eyes without anything she could do to stop herself ❝ you know what i mean… ❞ she started as her eyebrows met in a frown.  ❝ and i’ve shut you down every single time so… isn’t it easier to let it go ? ❞

“Give me a good reason to why you’re shutting me down then? A good ass reason to say no to me and maybe I’ll let it go.”

“ i guess you’re right. it just sucks though because you know it’s summer but one day it’s like boiling hot then the next day it’s like twenty degrees cooler. like it’s confusing.”

“Sound like me with all this complaining. But think about the good,  at least it’s better than being in the scorching heat everyday.”

mariana laughed softly at his joke. “there we go. now i know what i’m good at,” she teased in response before smiling as she watched his wandering eyes. “nice to meet you too, elijah. i like that name. okay, not gonna lie i’m super hungry too. how about this: we eat and then go clubbing. wash all that food down with shots, y’know?” she suggested with a smile.

“I surely do hope it’s more than that.” He then nodded at the suggestion she offered. “sounds like something I would normally do so yeah I’m down. Imma show you how to have a good time in your own environment.”

farah: hey! i know it's been too long

farah: sure, i'm free whenever you are :)

elijah: and i expected you to be like no get out of here

            ❝ i don’t go out anymore, unless it is to the pizza place on my block. ❞ amara shrugged, titling her head as her clear eyes settled on his features, studying his proposal quietly.  ❝ why are you still trying ? ❞ she finally questiioned out loud. ❝ haven’t you put up with enough already ? ❞

“what exactly have i put up with?” He exhaled as quietly as he could before focusing his eyes on her. “only thing I’m trying to do is get to know a person. I don’t see the harm by doing that.”

elijah: hey farah i haven't seen you in a while maybe we should get together and catch up

elijah: i can take you out if you're free anytime soon

she shrugged, “you haven’t really given me a reason to want to stay interested in this conversation.” she sent a forced smile his way shrugging once more as she leaned against a wall, “there are no wrong questions, just have to ask them the right way. but how about no questions unless they’re how are you and or where you been, okay?”

“that’s you personal opinion and the option to walk away is always there?” He laughed particularly at her shrug, expecting her to just do that after the ending up dead comment. “Hm I’ll try my best to remember that. But may I ask who you are?”
