gojo had been hitting himself all week over the way he treated you. of course, you weren't to blame for his problems, for breaking up with him, but it still hurt to know that you moved on so quickly.

when he hears word of a party happening at toji's, he decides to go. not to have fun, but to hopefully catch sukuna hanging around with that stupid fucking girl who was way more idiotic and disgusting than you.

gojo knows you, and he knows that you won't be at the party because of an upcoming chemistry test. you were always his good, smart girl.

he spends the rest of the week anxious until the night finally comes, and the party is loud. gojo makes his way through toji's house, no longer one of the drinkers or the ilves of the party, but instead there to try and make amends.

as he guessed, you weren't there, but your sweet little boyfriend was. gojo watches sukuna from a safe distance, watching as the broad man blends in and yet looks remarkable against the disco lights and the crowd of people. he smiles and laughs comfortably, a drink in hand and a joint in the other.

gojo stands watching, ignoring the few girls who try to come up and talk to him. he needs to focus here, this is you on the line.

as they move upstairs, gojo creeps up behind them. he stands silently outside the bedroom they're in and waits, waits ever so patiently for the perfect moment.

at any time when he questions what he's doing, why he's being so weird, he remembers you. how sweet and kind and deserving you are. gojo thinks that if you're not going to be with him, you at least deserve a better man that sukuna.

he waits until zippers are down and panting emerges, the sound of kissing making gojo both sick and jealous of the past he had with you. he takes out his phone and starts filming before bursting into the room.

"i caught you, you fucking dick!" he yells, running over to where sukuna lays on top of the girl. she squeals and covers her head while sukuna stares in shock. finally, a rage washes over his features and he huffs, trying to snatch the camera when he sees it.

"the fuck are you doing, huh?" sukuna yells, trying to grab gojo, but he's too slow. gojo huffs behind the camera, eyes looking at sukuna's, before it suddenly becomes too much.

quickly throwing his phone on a desk, he lunges. he was always a little shorter than sukuna, a little smaller too, but if the issue is about you? he's always going to give it all he has.

the girl runs out as the two spar, hitting and pulling and shoving all around the room. after many moments of struggle, sukuna shoves gojo to the ground with a nosebleed and bruised face before clothing himself and storming out of the room.

gojo pants, body a little shaky as he stands and grabs his phone. he wastes no time sending the video to you, as long with a message.

your eyes widen and you stumble back, shocked at the raging being in front of you. you notice the dark circles under his eyes and how messy his hair is, nothing like the perfect guy you once knew.

your shoulders sink when you realise you won't get through to him, that he's gone too far into whatever mindset he has adopted. you swallow and step back a few steps before turning around, head down to hide the tears in your eyes.

gojo watches as you leave, his hands trembling. he sniffles before walking the other way, avoiding all eye contact and bumping into whoever gets in his way.

by the time he gets to his car, tears are already rushing down his face. why did he have to be such an idiot? he curses himself and his actions until he calms down enough to finally look up to see sukuna. sukuna, talking to some girl in her car. he smiles down at her before leaning down to kiss her, a girl who is definitely not you.

it’s not like other girls have completely avoided him. when they found out you two separated, at least three stepped in. but gojo doesn’t find joy in talking to them anymore. no one is as smart or funny as you, nor as sweet.
