Skype
Clare: was having a difficult task of keeping Mackenzie still enough to go and get Theo for their Skype chat with Eli. Ever since she had mentioned the word Eli and told their daughter they'd get to see him over the computer Mackenzie, their oldest child had been a ball of energy excitedly asking her when she could see daddy. It made her heart melt the love that she had for her dad, although if she were being honest it also made her heart hurt over the fact that Eli was missing so much of their children growing up. Pushing those thoughts to the back of her mind Clare clicked on the Skype icon waiting for it to load as she held Theo in her arms and positioned Mackenzie next to her on the couch. Clicking on the video button she brushed a few of her unruly curls down hoping that she looked halfway decent as she waited for Eli on the other end of the computer screen.
Eli: had last seen his family over Skype what felt like forever ago. He was always busy with many things: Concerts, fan signings, meet and greets, interviews, acoustic sessions, the list went on and on leaving him with barely enough time to eat or sleep or speak with his family that he misses so much. Eli sat in the back of the tour bus with the door shut as the rest of the members of the band either sleeping in their bunk or doing something in the front of the bus. Eli was actually feeling nervous to see them on the computer screen, but so excited at the same time. He logged into Skype and saw Clare was online as while and wasted no time calling her.
