₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ Wrightworth in the middle of the night. Miles Edgeworth had another nightmare and so he couldn't sleep. He called Phoenix because he knew what he needed.

It was a dark night. Edgeworth woke up with sweat behind his neck and with a terrible shout. He fell asleep in his office. Again. It was the same nightmare. Over and over again. The blood on his hands will stay and he will never be able to wash it away. He took a steady breath and tried to push out all the horrible memories however his hands were still shaking and he knew that it wouldn't go away quickly. He carefully picked up his phone. There was only one person he could trust with something like this. And so he promptly dialed Wright's number.

"Hello Miles...?" He heard the voice and his heart almost instantly calmed down.

"Yes, it's me...I hope I am not interrupting something Phoenix."

Phoenix knew that voice. It was the voice Miles uses when he's trying to call out for help but doesn't know how. Phoenix's voice softened.

"I am coming."

After what seemed like an eternity for Miles, he heard a knock on his office doors. And right the moment after, Phoenix entered the room. Miles quickly stood up and ran towards Phoenix. Phoenix in the meantime closed the door and spread his arms wide open. In which Miles broke down on the floor with Phoenix hugging him.

"I...I am sorry...I know we shouldn't s-someone might've seen you and...and..."

Miles managed to whisper out with quiet sniffles and sobs interrupting him now and then.
