romeo liked to unwind from a long day working at his barber shop by going for a nice long walk around the neighborhood. this was his new alternative to sitting up at headlights until last call. he figured he could get a better grip on the neighborhood if he walked around it more and it seemed to be helping his cause. he immediately smelled the cigarette smoke and as a former smoker was a bit nostalgic. the barber was walking in the direction of the other as he smiled, âhey manâ a nod of his head as he checked out the skateboard. he didnât peg this neighborhood to have many skateboarders, but he was grateful to hopefully meet someone who was different, âyou know you really shouldnât be skating on these pristine streetsâ he scolded in a joking manner, poking fun at all of the pretentious neighbors he had now.
he figured that it would be a quick nod of the head and be done with the conversation but when he mentioned his skateboard and how well kept the neighbourhood was he couldnât help but grin, looking down at his board. âwell, i probably shouldnât be skating period.â he said with a shrug. âiâm a nurse, need both legs and all that.â he shook his head, flicking the ash from the cigarette away from the other. âi just moved here. are the neighbours that bad?â
