Hi, I'm elfhelmet (This is NOT my username) and I post about both classic and play wild.

Things about me:

i started playing AJ Classic around April 2011 when i was 7 years old, but I stopped playing around 2017. I started playing again in July 2025.

I originally started playing AJPW around 2017, but then stopped in 2018. I started playing again in October 2025.

My main interests in Animal Jam are scrapped/unreleased content, the beta/alpha testing period of AJ Classic, and the 2010/2011 artstyle! Please talk to me all about it!!!

Also I love making and uploading lots of gifs! they will be tagged as #gif so, if your device can't handle that please block that. thank you!

Although animal jam is a kids game, this blog may have some swearing!

Something I do when I have nothing better to do is search for random usernames on Animal Jam Classic and go to their dens like It's kind of interesting it's like going into a bedroom that hasn't been used in like 5-10 years like sometimes it tells a story with the den portals and masterpieces they have up

what time is the daily reset? it said flamingos were in store for 2 more days yesterday but they left a day early and i missed it :(

Animal Jam runs on Mountain Time (MDT) because Wildworks is based in Utah! It resets at midnight for the MDT timezone.

The flamingos might've left a day early as animals that are scheduled to leave around update day (the first Thursday of every month) usually leave alongside the update... (This is why sometimes animals don't leave when they are supposed to when an update is late). An employee might've just accidentally made the countdown to leave a day after update day instead of on.
