adding a top bar: right after <body> add <div id="topbar"></div> you might have to retype the “”

styling the top bar:

in your <style>…</style> add div#topbar {}

to make it always show, even when you scroll down, add position:fixed; between the {}

to place it at the very top of the page, add top:0; between the {}

to make it span the whole page, add left:0;right:0; between the {}

to give it a certain height, add height:#px; between the {}, changing #px to the height you want it to be

to add a background color, add background-color:#000000; between the {}, changing #000000 to the color of your choice

to make sure it shows up above everything, add z-index:100; between the {}

adding the rainbow gradient:

background:linear-gradient(90deg,red,orange,yellow,green,blue,purple);

change red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple to the colors of your choice
