Signus was in the trunks he’d borrowed from the house. They were a little tight on him but he wasn’t shy- in fact, he really liked showing off his ass and they did just that. Technically it was fall but it was warm for fall so a dip and a drink were pretty nice to have. And he’d been enjoying the use of his friend’s house, but he’d been invited to. It was really more of a palace than a house.

He felt the eyes of the neighbor upon him. He’d seen the guy once or twice and thought he was pretty handsome.

He rose out of the water like a hunky Poseidon and went for a towel. He looked at the other man and gave a smile and wave.

“Hi, I’m Signus. I’m house sitting for Dave.”

Matt returned the wave and nodded softly, a smile coming revealing his perfect teeth. "I'm Matthew, pleasure is all mine Signus. Are you enjoying the beach?'

There was a moment of fright between the two. When the man fell from his chair the symbiote had stretched up in an action mimicking the shriek. They had moved closer to the ground once the man examined them closer.

In a moment of hesitation the symbiote came closer, slowly. It slowly got into the man’s palm as it slowly relaxing like a gel in their hand.

Whatever the fluid, shifting life-form with clear sentience was, it didn’t seem intent to harm him; simply mimic him, apparently. So Mateo drew in a deep breath and reminded himself that an overreaction would only escalate whatever mess he had stepped in. His body tense but his breathing evenly controlled as the… thing settled in his hand.

Plans very rarely go right. In the case of the Galix, this was the farthest thing from the plan going right. The intention was to crash into a lake, and escape into the environment to explore, not an old factory.

The two symbiotes were seperated and in the case of this lucky symbiote a man who came to put out their mess. He had noticed the symbiote in the wreckage and had kept him stowed away from his comrades. Now they were in a well lit room, it appeared to be a resting area for the man who puts out fires. The symbiote slowly moved around the desk looking up at the man.

Another day, another fire, with nothing unexpected to mull or stress over; it was just the way Mateo liked it. He was a very strict man of routine, after all, and the first moment of relaxation after a job well done was always the most refreshing breath of air in his day. Then he opened his eyes and leaned forward in his seat, and his lips were parted with a startled squawk as he shot up and sent his chair flying. Cursing in a fluent string of Spanish too fast to understand, Mateo looked around the room for anyone else and then back to… whatever the thing on the floor was.
