Theoretically, you’re actually quite compatible, you’re just opposite polarities, and ‘cut-and-dry’ astrology says signs of opposite polarities don’t work. I don’t agree with that at all! In fact, I’m currently in a poly partnership with both of my most compatible opposite polarities, a Sagittarius and a Libra, as I’m a Taurus. It took us a long time to get along smoothly. They knew each others language well, and I, as a yin sign, couldn’t see eye-to-eye with them. I’ve learned that for any signs of opposite polarities to work, you can’t tango to the traditional steps that our culture and media like to think every relationships should be (or it’s not “meant to be”). You have communicate. You have to learn each others language and realize you’re not always going to have the same definition for every word you use. It’s extremely difficult to know if a Sagittarius is in love with you, but if she’s baking for you and kissing your cheek, it sounds like she’s very fond of you in the very least. Sags normally tend to be the ‘go-getters’ in their relationships, but she may be waiting for you to be the one that makes the first move, instead of her. Just be your hopeless romantic Cancer-self and give her a juicy love confession; Sags adore that. Just not ‘too’ juicy, or she might run for the hills- which also doesn’t necessarily mean she doesn’t love you. Sags are wily creatures. Like the centaur, few can catch them and even fewer can bond with them.

Now, I never said an earth sign would be ‘best’ for you, I just tried to insinuate that it could be an alternative dating option, so don’t let the idea get stuck in your mind and deflate you. <3 There are plenty of yin signs that prefer yang signs and yang signs that prefer yin! I personally don’t see them being friends as the worst part! I guess that’s because I’ve always been a poly person at heart. I’m also not suggesting poly is for everyone, or even for you, just that you never really know until you search your heart. As far as any compatibility with any sign, I am the genuine believer that it’s possible for any sign to be in a strong, healthy relationship with any other. You just need a good communication, and communication means listening and knowing what your words mean to the other people involved as well as being able to share your feelings.

Hey this is a pretty good question. It sounds like you’re one of the yin signs that’s more attracted to yang signs- and there’s nothing wrong with that at all. Try a Libra or Leo instead. If nothing else, a Taurus with a water moon could be a good place to start with other yin signs. Dating should be fun and not stressful, and try to keep your relationships like that, just dating. As a fellow yin sign I can tell you it’s hard to not put a dating partner into a relationship status before you’ve really gotten to know them, so that advice is easier said than done. Only if they can learn to talk out their problems before the Sagittarius explodes from the Cancer’s neediness, or the Cancer locks herself in her shell from the Sagittarius’ extroverted tendencies. These two will have to form a powerful communication for their relationship to go anywhere but nowhere.

I don’t really like doing exact matches of sun, moon, and rising. I feel like it’s a shallow thing to say- I don’t even really get excited about doing match asks in general. As a general guide combining your personal moon and rising though, I’d say you’re most compatible with a Cancer, since you have a Virgo moon, either that or a Virgo with a water moon. Avoid Sagittariuses though. They shatter your world just by being themselves.

I feel like the ups and downs would be relatively equal for both. A Sagittarius could be an adventure for you that you could have never had alone, but drag you out of your shell too hard and too fast if you’re not in the mood to leave the solace of it. A Scorpio could feel simultaneously too flighty and too clingy, and the pull between the two could throw a kink in your natural tidal changes, but if they settle out, the two of you could create a relatively harmonious home. If you’re really stuck on these two, I can understand, as a Cancer, you’re going to do what you want to do, but may I suggest an earth sign? Virgo and Taurus would suite you well, but a Capricorn just might be a rather industrial partner for you.

I can see the Pisces constantly accusing the Aquarius of cheating on him, and eventually she just leaves in the night.

To be honest, I feel like the Scorpio would get bored of the Capricorn, or worse, destroy him, but if he’s more like his Sagittarius moon on a daily basis, she might have some fun adventures with him. As young people they might fight a lot, but if they are older, more patient, and willing to talk, their differences could probably be dissolved over a romantic movie and large bowl of popcorn.

Pisces are incredibly adaptive, and I’m sure you’ll figure out which would best suit your needs relatively quickly.
