Clare sat up a little straighter, stopping mid-lullaby to look up at her husband. "You know, I've heard I'm a really good tutor," she reminded. Although, she had a feeling that would just lead to them fooling around and never getting anything productive done like it did when she was a little younger. She took a sip from her coffee, teasing with a shrug, "Or maybe, Nat and Alek and I will just have a secret language and talk about you in Russian so you don't know what we're saying." Her lips rested in a smirk, her free hand patting Alek's side. He curled into his mother with a whining sound. She set her mug back down to adjust him. "We just woke up and we're already mad?" she sighed as he started crying.
"You are a very good tutor." Zig replied with a playful smirk. He knew that first hand, as Zig was almost certain he never would have finished off high school without her help. Zig had spent far too much time getting distracted by other things.
"It really isn't fair for you to use my native tongue against me." Zig told her with a laugh. He was glad that Clare had taken the time to learn Russian. It made him feel that she really cared about him and connecting to his family. "What can I say? He takes after his father and hates mornings."
