The band was all, “We have fifty-pound lights hanging over our heads and fire being shot out of cannons.  We had to know whether they read our safety regs so we didn’t flamebroil any roadies.”

My experience growing up with Disney was that I imagined the characters being somewhat magical. Over the years I’ve appreciated the craft and art from the artists. Obviously, I know that it’s people behind the magic. But whenever I turn on a VHS of my favourite classics, I get drawn in to the idea that they seem out of this world, as if not made by people. Thanks to the low quality I don’t notice the drawn lines. I am happy that I can have this visual outlook of Disney intact with the realism.
