you cannot take the man out of the trans and you cannot take the trans out of the man. trans men are men BECAUSE they're trans, and trans men are trans BECAUSE they're men. trans men are oppressed for their transmasculinity. we are not viewed as JUST trans or JUST men, we are viewed as TRANS MEN. One singular entity. We are oppressed for being trans, yes, but our transness is inherently masculine- therefore, we are oppressed for our identity as men. And us oppressed for being men doesn't suddenly mean that misandry or androphobia is a systemic issue equal to misogyny (its not, but also no one is saying it is), because we are oppressed for being men in a way that is inherently trans.
