I get sad when I think about it but Lanceâs route could have been truly amazing. The slowburn, the enemies to lovers done right is just đ. It had the potential to be great and instead we have a watered down version of an interesting character and a romance that feels rushed and has no substance. I know this is an otome game and I canât expect a lot but itâs just disappointing.

Yes and no. They don't open up easily, they're very straightforward, responsible and both of them have shown great leadership skills. I'd say that passion is also a trait that defines them pretty well.
The differences are more prominent in TO. Lance is more perceptive, impulsive and confident. He never doubted his abilities, he embraced his nature as a dragon completely (unlike Valkyon) and he outsmarted the Guard many times. However, he was also reckless, arrogant and vindictive.
He lacked the wisdom and overall emotional intelligence that his brother had. Valkyon was strong enough to forgive and move on from the tragedy of his past and he did everything he could to protect the world and the people that he loved the most (his brother included) until the very end.

I can't imagine him making a scene over something petty like jealousy because he has a pretty good hold on his feelings and heâd not be easily annoyed over something like that. If something really bothered him he'd talk to her as soon as possible
