Behold. The finale. For this blog’s first custom-OC request and multi-chapter fic (not actually part of the request; the latter is all my doing). Dedicated to the extremely sweet @mentacomchocolate, who was one of the very first to reach out to this blog, and a continuous source of support for both the blog and this fan-writer stranded on one corner of the world. Hope you like this sexy, kooky, karma-riddled finale, dear. 

Spoiler: It has puns. Not one. But three. 

Now excuse me while I go size up my coffin for a bit. I’ll be back; don’t worry.

Warning: It’s not safe for work yet. We’re only just pulling out of the moral nose-dive for this series. Valkyon and Sofimon haven’t quite finished having their fun. You’ve been warned.

The ceaseless rush of the cataracts above and below was what brought them both back to the present, the sounds, smells, and shapes of the twilit mountain spring slowly resolving through the dark. All but boneless from her climax, her skin lit alive with flush and a depth of pleasure that she hadn’t felt in years, Sofimon continued to cling onto her lover and silently thanked the spirit of the missing naiad queen, or whatever led her to this hidden spring and smiled on them tonight.

Dear @mentacomchocolate, and all other readers who’ve enjoyed following her custom match-up,

I humbly apologize for the unusually long delay for the finale. :( 

When I finally finished the draft, about a day after I posted the teaser for the part 3, I realized–frankly– that what I had was not up to scratch in the slightest. And I had to pull a complete rewrite. Of a smut scene. Which is always packed with 3 times the level of detail for a straightforward SFW narrative. It took about 36 hours total to revive a new draft from the shreds of the old, or a few hours a day plus one full Saturday. And the new draft was long enough that it needed to be split into 2 chapters, for brevity’s sake.  

What I assumed was going to be a quick day’s editing turned into much, much more because the myriad minor problems I found were all rooted in a very shaky foundation, or a simple lack of focus for the story. Which really should have been identified from the beginning of the series, or else it’s a mountain of editing work, as I discovered this week. :(     

Even then, I’m still not a 100% happy with this new set of ‘draft twins’. But, I kept all of you waiting for long enough, @mentacomchocolate most of all. You’ll have to be the judge of this two-part finale. 

Again, I apologize for the unusual delay, especially after posting a teaser (which, I usually try to publish 24 to 48 hours before the actual request). In the future, Ill be sure to post an update on this blog should these kinds of delays– and other writing woes– occur again. You readers have all been a huge support for this blog, and you deserve to know if there’s going to be a delay– unforeseen or otherwise– in publishing writing requests. 

Anyway, without further ado, here’s part 1 of the steamy finale of this blog’s first custom OC request. 

Warning: We’ve hit rock-bottom in this series in terms of purity. This particular chapter is pretty much smut from beginning to end. Staring Valkyon and a bookish Brazilian bombshell. You’ve been warned.

The hot spring lapped at the stone in tongues of lead and fire as Sofimon pulled them to a stop on the penultimate step of the stairs. And gently pressed Valkyon back against the wall. He blinked once in surprise, but said nothing, offered no resistance as her hands swept back the ends of his long, ivory hair from his shoulders, then traced him by the hard curves of his upper arms, the shape of his pectorals, the ridges of his ribs and stomach that shuddered under the sweep of her questing fingers. His amber-bright eyes continued to watch her, opened wide and deep.

It was the look, Sofimon realized in a heartbeat, of a not-entirely innocent young man who spent years promoting a different face entirely. Not from reserve per se, but from shyness. From an ironbound skepticism in the idea that there were those who wanted him. It was safer to assume otherwise than to hope.

Her hands swept up again to the buckle of his short cuirass, snapped it open with a low click to part his doubts and the jagged sheaf of black leather that saddled his skin. And when her palms slipped inside, over the hard, velvety buds of his nipples, the bass weight of his breath drew taut in his chest. Valkyon swallowed, the muscles of his bronzed throat rolling in the deep shadows thrown up from her lantern at their feet. His great hands finally came up, caught her by her elbows.

“This isn’t necessary,” he breathed, his voice reduced to a low husk. “It’ll be faster if I take care of my own clothes.”

Sofimon glanced down at his grip, reduced to no more than a gentle pressure around her arms, then up at the wire-tautness of his biceps. And she smiled at him. “Maybe I’ll take a while,” she admitted, with a light chuckle. Her forefinger traced the line of his breastbone. “But after all this time, I want to learn how to buckle you out of all that armor.”
