Thought I'd share about finding peace in the chaos. You know the rush of getting ahead as fast possible. When does that stop? Should it? Should I someday not care about getting ahead in life? Can you ever get to "ahead" in life or is it always just your own perspective? Blah blah blah. Appreciate what you have. If you fall behind on your "ideal life plan" it's just proof you don't know the future of this imperfect world so your plan is always going to be flawed. Welcome to being human! I still owe a little on my car and my house but I don't count myself as behind. It's all perspective. I always pay my credit cards in full, my loans off early and I'm happy all the time. But I've still needed to get 2 loans in my life. Am I ahead? Not to me. Responsible? Enough. Do I stop to compare to anyone besides the me I need to be to get ahead? No. Why am I where I'm at? Who do I need to appreciate more? This is why I give back. No matter how much "ahead" it never seems to matter- if I don't have someone to give back to. I pour my extra energy into helping others live in a less toxic environment. Physically & mentally it's good to ask for help & actually accept it. I've been there and now I've been focused on reciprocity. Let other's pour into you. Rushing does not = getting ahead. Seeing people care about themselves is what brings me the most "ahead". I'm so grateful for the support I've had through my life so far. You may be the joy of someone's day just for loving yourself. So for me, for you can you just do something nice for yourself. Self care isn't selfish. Take time to unwind, thank someone and give back to your own body. You have permission and you deserve it. Hopefully you believe this. I do.
