TL;DR: i’m closing this blog for good

So. I’m sure y’all have noticed that i haven’t been active on this blog at all for a very long time. A few months ago, during a moment of Sudden Inspiration, i decided to make an EPIC COMEBACK which ended up lasting like 3 weeks lmao. While it is true that college is the main thing keeping me away from this blog and character i love so much, i would be lying if i said i’m still as invested in this game and its lore as i used to be. When i stopped playing league ( the result of a shitty pc + no friends still playing it ) i found myself rotating towards other fandoms that i was still an active member of, like dragon age and even homestuck if you can believe it. I was surprised at how little i missed league since that. I still adore Ekko with all my heart, and whenever i think about what an incredible character he is i’m tempted to plan EPIC COMEBACK NO.2, but my heart’s simply not in it.

So yeah. I’m officially closing this blog. I don’t think i’ll be deleting it: i’m very proud of the things i’ve posted here and i need something to show for all the hours i’ve put into it. I’m also super grateful for the amazing people i’ve met through this blog. If we’ve written together, chances are i’ve gone back to our threads at some point and reread everything with a big ol’ smile on my face. 

The friends I made here have always been incredible with me, making me laugh, inspiring me and helping me with my troubles. I probably didn’t deserve it, considering i’ve so often disappeared without warning, leaving your kind messages unanswered for months on end, only to come back promising change and never following through.

So basically~ I like to pop in here every once in a while to check on you lovely people, but I never really post anything because — well, CLOSED blog; not posting is kind of the point, right?

But the day I saw the leaks for the true damage skins it was like all my Ekko muse came rushing back and I was so overwhelmed I had to share the hype somewhere. Honestly, this all started with riot’s animated series set in Zaun but anyway…… I ended up coming here with all my excitement over a bunch of cool pixels, because tbh this is still the only place I can geek out about League :’)

I have to say!!! I’ve missed posting on this blog, and I’ve missed the people I used to interact with pretty much every day when I started this thing in 2015. I would love to come back, but I don’t know if that’s just the hype talking and, unfortunately, RPing on tumblr still feels like a very stressful thing. If I did return, I don’t doubt I’d nope the fuck out again the following week because I felt too pressured to deliver a good reply in time. Heh. Time.

I might just turn this into a normal league (if heavily Ekko centered) blog that occasionally RPs via instant messaging??? I haven’t been feeling confident in my writing for a long time though so I won’t even dare to dream.
