I really want to keep Blanc’s backstory a mystery, but if they ever do show us Blanc’s family on screen i hope they’re all played by iconic British actors with thick southern accents. let Ian McKellen and Judi Dench play Blanc’s parents. they’ve been cast as posh British people for so long. let them be free

my favourite thing abt the bbcu (benoit blanc cinematic universe) is that the connecting thread of the movies isnt a benoit blanc but the underlying story of "disenfranchised woman of colour wins over stupid rich white guy aided by a detective who can only be described as 'miss marple if she was gay and from the american south'"

it was so funny in glass onion when helen was literally just like "well what if miles just killed andi" and blanc was like naaaah he wouldn't do that. that'd be such a stupid thing to do. miles bron is not an idiot. and then the whole point of the movie was that he WAS an idiot and he DID just kill her. they put it right in front of us and a lot of people probably dismissed it (at least i did) cause we were expecting the murderer to be cunning like they usually are

Actually my favorite part of Glass Onion was that random fucking dude on the island. What the fuck was he doing there. I thought Darryl (Derrick? David? ??) was like foreshadowing for something or he’d be the twist killer but NOPE he literally was just chillin. Some random lady breaks into his room COOL this detective guy wants to smoke with him SURE the GODDAMN HOUSE EXPLODES? Yeah why not he wasn’t using it that much anyways. Randomass guy you are my hero
