“Meh, let me live in my lies Eileen. But yeah, they finally came to a conclusion after I went on and told the manager I thought about finding other jobs. They sort of got a spot open at the children’s part of the studio and since I worked with them on that game show they knew I could do it. I’m a little excited actually, I get to do more than just crack jokes and smile at the camera, even if I’m not all that used to it yet. So it will be you, me and Vicky singing along to that guitar. Can’t say I hate it.”

“Oh, clever are you. You did a great job on your other show, they would have missed out on something even greater if they had let you go. You like kids and you have the energy and the humor for it at least -- but then again, smiling at the camera isn’t that stupid either. Half an hour here and there and then some cash. Is Vicky an actual person or a mascot? You can’t play instruments, can you?”

“Ah, hope all you want, but I won’t be the one turning into a troll, though I’d still be cute and charming. They’re too big to be seen in public, they won’t kidnap you. They’ll get Tony to do it, gnomes are trolls’ distant cousins. Well, because they’re my lips, do you need any more reasons than that? 

We might have a problem on our hands here, and hey that depends on what type of troll we’re talking about! There’s differet kinds, not just the big ones that live in the forest. Some are really tiny, like mushrooms and they have cute mushroom hats. Tony would just take my bra and leave, you know that. I just bought this one, he can’t have it. For being a known flirter you aren’t very good at coming up with reasons as to why. You can’t just demand, ask nicely.

Alright, 45 it is! That’s true though, after 45 things definitely get bad. Bones start creaking, signs of aging and just generally bad bad things. But I’ll probably still look just as good. No? Well then, how can I be more convincing?

Really now? And here I was, hoping you’d turn into a mountain troll as soon as you work your way into the forty lane. Have you seen them? Awfully cute and charming, they can kidnap me any day. Hm... give me a few reasons as to why I should put my lips on yours?

“Well the good new is that the network DIDN’T decide on kicking me out, the bad news is that none of you are allowed to stare at that channel between 6 p.m and 7 p.m. I mean, unless you too want to join in on the singing circle with me and my new best friend Vicky.” 

“They didn’t? That’s great news! I know you’ve been worried to bits about it, don’t try to lie to me. Are you excited for it? I mean... by the sound of it, it’s not Family Fumble but I can join in on that circle for sure.”

Awh come on now, you look lovely and not a day over 50. If that someone is me, you are mistaken. You wanna kiss this face.

Make it 45 and we’re talking. 45 is the perfect middle age of still loooking fine as hell and moving into the bad years. Mhm, do I now? Not too sure, you’re not very convincing, young man.

Ever since she was getting help, Sasha was feeling and looking more happier and healthier. It was something that the young ballerina deserved to be; after many years of feeling unwanted and lost and being abused and abandoned  it was acceptable to do such things. For her it was alright to sing and dance her heart out especially if it made her happy. Besides she had gotten good news from her old boss and they were going to sit down and see if Sasha can teach again. Everything was falling in to place and she couldn’t be more happier than that.

“Just wait until you’re out at 5 a.m on a Saturday, you will have a flood of peple crossing this park alone -- I’ve been part of that far too many times.” Elieen corrected her dress slowly as she spoke, wishing she had at least gotten a shower before leaving her father’s apartment behind. “Really? That’s awesome! You do dancing, don’t you? Nate has told me about it, but I have yet to see it. You’re all such a talented bunch”, she flashed a smile her way, feeling her headache fade away by the cheerful presence. “I haven’t heard much from that band, I have to admit. Have you had breakfast yet? I’m starving and some places are starting their breakfast menu in twenty minutes or so.”

“I didn’t watch much T.V. as a kid, or as a teen. I had other things to do with my time. Twenty? Really? Time really does seem to drag on when you want to kill the protagonist. Yeah they’re pretty cool, a little too cheesy at times but they’re alright.”

“You didn’t? Like what? I was glued to mine when I was a kid! But then again, not much you can do as a child living on Manhattan. It’s a sitcom, I have never watched a sitcom longer than twenty minutes. Oh but cheesy is their thing, they’re supposed to be this perfect couple that balance each other. I take it you haven’t seen the last two episodes yet, have you`?”

We should all get together for New Year’s, it feels like it’s been forever since I saw you guys last. Are you old and growing beards? Do you have white hair or balding? Who knows. I wanna know! And I know you do too. Let’s do something people!

Are you trying to tell me I’m old and ugly? I know someone who won’t get a New Years kiss this year. 

Sasha’s idea of working out was her dancing, and that seemed reasonable to her. Though she naturally got lost in her own little world while doing so. She’d jog to the edge of Manhattan, past the stores  and towards the park, up one of the paths that had more of a clearing towards the top. Blasting her favorite song, “Best day of my life”, she’d have the freedom to blurt it out loud and dance her heart out. And that’s exactly what she was currently doing.

She had to treasure herself lucky her father had been out of town for the one and only night Eileen had pulled her ass over at Manhattan for a long nighter with a few of her older friends. She had woken up at 6 a.m, hair pointing at every direction, her clothes smelling heavily of smoke and alcohol, her breath being everything but tender and fresh. Sadly enough her father’s apartment didn’t own any of her every day products, they were all down at her own apartment in Brooklyn and thus she had no other choice but to drag herself back home before the crowds started to pull in. She wasn’t in the mood to scare someone half to death.

“I’m not up to that part just yet but I’ve heard they get together, or people want them together or something like that. But you’re right, strangest combinations seem to work. I know, right? I can barely stand him in a fourtytwo minute episode let alone an entire marriage. It’s strange to think some people are into that but each to their own, I guess.”

“Brooke, are you trying to tell me this is your first time watching this show? It’s been over for years and you don’t even know about Robin and Barney? Oh...just oh Brooke. The episodes are only twenty minutes, not fourty, which I’m thankful for even if the humor is spot on at times. I usually watch it for Lily and Marshall -- what a duo couple.” 

“If I knew Ted Mosby I’d want to punch him in the face. I stopped asking myself three hours ago why I was watching the How I Met Your Mother marathon. Right now I’ve got to get through it for Robin.” 

“I’m pretty sure most people watch that show for Robin and Barney, though Barney is a dick they work together in the weirdest of ways. I’m happy she didn’t end up with Ted and I’m sorry for the one who did.”

“Honestly, I don’t know why it’s so hard to believe I’m a CEO/photographer, or when they do believe it they request someone else as their boss because it’s too “unbelievable or unrealistic” for a cute blonde to be a kick ass ceo. It infuriates me, it’s so offensive.”

“That’s when you have the chance to put them in their place. What are you CEO for?”
