In all honesty, it was bound to happen one day or another. With the sisters’ new sense of freedom it had become a very common thing to see at least one of them walking about the city of Arendelle, and with that, it should have been expected that the youngest of the royal sisters would have brought home some creature that she might’ve found during one of said outings.
Yet, Elsa still found herself baffled by the strange, muffled sound of barking as she passed through the main hall that connected to the sleeping chambers. The Queen of Arendelle took pause as she listened, catching the last few of the canine’s outbursts before it fell silent; but she was well aware of what it meant.
“Anna, I swear to God…” the blonde woman mumbled under her breath as she redirected her course of direction to her sister’s room. Of course, she held the incorrect assumption that the redhead would be in the room with the animal she was sure would be the focus of negotiations to keep it. So, not bothering to knock on the younger woman’s door, Elsa’s hand swiftly pressed down on the handle, prepared for the bombardment of pleas and begging to keep the creature.
“Anna, there better not be a dog in here.”
It was obvious the canine belonged to someone from high wealth despite the fact he sported dirty fur that reeked of the salty ocean. Bolt wore a rather expensive leather collar, studded with several small red rubies. The Point is, he’s a little girl’s dog - a young princess that lives in faraway kingdom from Arendelle. When Penny couldn’t bring along the shepherd for the first time, Bolt freaked out and tried to catch the ship. What he didn’t realize is that he caught the wrong one.
The crew was going to return the canine, however, their plan got more complicated when they had trouble restraining the beast. When they docked, Bolt darted towards the kingdom of Arendelle, thinking his person was going to be there. Oh, how he was wrong. He was in such a rush that he mistook Anna for Penny. He saw red hair in the crowd of townspeople...so he followed. It wasn’t until the last minute that he realized that he had accidentally mistaken.
Upon hearing the voice of another human, Bolt tried to skid to a stop. Whoever was behind that door could possibly help out and point him to the real Penny! Unfortunately, claws and soft pads couldn’t regain traction on such a slick floor. Bolt rammed into the door with a mighty ‘THUNK’. Scrambling back on all fours after flopping towards the ground, the beast shook it off and started to scratch at the door. It was then he gave a reaffirming bark, to remind everyone that he was INDEED trapped in here.
