Frank Ocean - Pyramids.  I ran into Mr. Ocean two weeks ago at the Seattle Airport on a Thursday night.  He was draped in orange on the eve of his album release Channel Orange, and nice enough to snap a quick picture with me before hopping in an unmarked white van and zipping away.  The COOLEST dude ever.

Bear in Heaven - The Reflection of You.  A sweet cut off of their 2012 album I Love You It's Cool.

The Tallest Man on Earth - Revelation Blues.  The poet returns with another gem of a record.  This track, somehow reminiscent and weighted in novelty all the while.

Geographer - Verona

Tycho - Coastal Brake.  Serendipitous a feeling as there ever was.

PAPA - I Am The Lion King (St. Lucia Remix).  Kudos to a friend of mine for sharing this sublime track.  St. Lucia, as it turns out, is an island located in the Caribbean and shaped oddly like a Native American arrowhead.  This means absolutely nothing to you, but pertinent to those looking for a lesson in geography.  As for the song though, it's basically Summer.  For five dreamy minutes it represents everything to love about those sun drenched days, the beach, driving with the windows down, and giving no fucks at all.

Beach House - Myth.  Newly arrived and yet aged as only this duo could do.  Victoria's voice feels bigger than ever.  New album entitled Bloom is due May 15th.
