Last year was all about making the interior of our house come out of the 1960’s. There’s still a lot of work to do don’t get me wrong but this year a lot of our focus has been/will be on the exterior of the house, working on that curb appeal! We finished clearing out the bushes that blocked a lot of the house ( I forgot a before picture, had to use the one from when our house was listed 🤣) We still need to mulch and I plan on adding some planter boxes but I love how much just removing those bushes opened the house up. Monday, Monday here we are again. Today is Day 9 of quarantine for me. I won’t pretend this has been easy for me. It hasn’t! My body is used to being busy, between school, my internship, my business, most days I am out of the house, at least for a portion of the day and that all came to a screeching halt. I have had a rollercoaster of emotions, ranging from everything is going to be okay to full on panic attacks. I have had sleepless nights because my anxiety has been so high. I am still adjusting to this new normal, hopefully it won’t be the norm for long, but for now it is a necessity. I’m thankful for my partner that understands we will have bad days. I’m thankful for my friends FaceTiming me to check in. I am grateful that I am in a position where I can stay at home. Our household was hit by this in a big way, but we are going to get through it.
