i am not over a lot of things. and i shouldn't be.

sometimes when i listen to music that i enjoy, i start to feel guilty about feeling good because i still haven't fixed anything.

then i remind myself that if i can't fix myself, i can't fix anything. and i can't help anyone.

and i try to distance myself from what can break me down, because if i break down and become utterly useless, then what's the point?

i am easily broken, because i have been broken for a long time. but i have been on the mend for so long that i can't allow myself to be brought down by anything. or anyone.
