MACHINATIO DIVINA // Artfight 2026 attack on my goat @eidol0n, featuring her OC Preacher and my OC Helios

I thought about the title of this attack for a long time and I hope I translated/interpreted it correctly. It’s not perfectly relevant to the attack itself, but I think it's pretty significant when I think about the context of this art piece. If my interpretation is correct, “Machinatio Divina” doesn't quite mean “divine machine” in Latin, but rather it would translate to “divine machination” or “divine design,” which can easily be chalked up to one word: fate.

The Artfight season approaches and I've just finished the last reference for my favorite Ultrakill oc so I thought I'd show him off a little... my stupid chud son Helios...

A bit about Archangel Helios, his official title is "God's Pride" and he's a bit of a narcissistic reckless hothead who loves to yap, fight anything that moves, and turn every trivial thing into a competition. He was made to basically be Heaven's showhorse. Of course, that all ended when he yapped himself right into the contempt of the Council, who damned him to Heresy for his questionably blasphemous words (I haven't posted his fallen design here yet shhh).
