Martin casually tapped his watch and let out a soft sigh when he realized that it’s battery had died. Sure it had probably been dead for like a week but he’d only noticed it right then and there. If it hadn’t been for the fact that the watch once belonged to his father he probably would have sold it to someone here to give him a little spending money. Although now it would probably be seen as useless unless somebody could use it for something. “I’m sure he’d be okay with me selling it, definitely if he knew the situation I’m currently in. I just wish there was another… well I guess I could try selling my drawings if I saw something I really wanted.” He thought to himself not realizing that he’d actually said it rather than just thinking it. He looked up from his watch before walking back towards the hotel with a soft sigh. “I wish that we had some way of knowing when we’ll be able to go home or if we’ll ever be able to go back.” He murmured before accidentally walking into someone that he hadn’t noticed. “Shit. I’m really sorry about that, I didn’t see you there. You’re not hurt are you?” He questioned with a worried expression.
❝· ·𝐨𝐢 ! 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐢𝐭, ·❞ edmund spat automatically when being bumped into. it was a knee-jerk reaction mainly from years of living with his siblings. he took a step back & shook his head, eyes narrowing slightly at the person who bumped into him. it wasn’t one of his siblings. ❝· oh. my apologies for the rudeness, it was a quick reaction & i’m used to it being my siblings, not strangers. ---- you didn’t hurt me at all, promise. ·❞ he gave a small smile with a nod before straightening up slightly. his eyes glanced over the other man. if ed was trying to figure out if he knew him then it was all in vain. ❝· ·are you hurt in anyway ? i've been told that i can be rather sturdy in build but i do believe that that is my little sister teasing me. ·❞
