Medic can hurt but can heal and Scout is into that freaky shit of power play is what I'd describe them
I think scout is very. What's the word. Not uptight but defensive about how people see him and what they can do to him ESPECIALLY wrt his masculinity and control.... and letting medic [an older more experienced man] break him into little pieces and put him back together again is sort of like the ultimate relinquishing of control. It's also about like .... That he can put him back together at all means that he can push farther and hit harder and cut deeper and still mend every injury which is like. Part of the initial subconscious attraction especially since scout is sort of an all or nothing person.
He also saw medic naked once and it gave him a boner which is like a huge bonus 👍
To bounce off the previous point abt medic and spy being very similar i think part of the reason scout becomes So Very Fascinated By medic is bc he and medic could not be more opposite. At first it's a sort of like hey i found a weird unidentifiable bug let me poke at it type situation and then it's like i do not in any way shape or form get you [for the most part. Lol] but I want to spend hours trying
