Medic can hurt but can heal and Scout is into that freaky shit of power play is what I'd describe them

I think scout is very. What's the word. Not uptight but defensive about how people see him and what they can do to him ESPECIALLY wrt his masculinity and control.... and letting medic [an older more experienced man] break him into little pieces and put him back together again is sort of like the ultimate relinquishing of control. It's also about like .... That he can put him back together at all means that he can push farther and hit harder and cut deeper and still mend every injury which is like. Part of the initial subconscious attraction especially since scout is sort of an all or nothing person.

He also saw medic naked once and it gave him a boner which is like a huge bonus 👍

To bounce off the previous point abt medic and spy being very similar i think part of the reason scout becomes So Very Fascinated By medic is bc he and medic could not be more opposite. #or rather like. how i write them.#bc demo is such an interesting example of a black character #his family are an Old line and it seems they've always been an explicitly black line too #meaning that his entire culture and his relationship with identity are focused on his scottish roots rather than any ties to diaspora #which is just. so fucking cool. if im being honest #spy on the other hand [or rather my interpretation of spy] is explicitly mixed black #and his black half is algerian tuareg #also given that it seems he's spent a decent amount of time in the states his relationship with blackness WOULD stem from #[when he eventually reconnects with his blackness mind u] creating something out of the survival of persecution #he's the diaspora. the immigrant. his relationship with his blackness - his non American blackness #has been reformed and redefined by black american culture #in uh. my head. anyway #chattering #i also think that spy's relationship to france and his Very Frenchieness #are the white parts of his identity
