tell me about the first heart that you broke. tell me about how you fell out of love as summer slowly turned into autumn and the leaves on the trees were no longer green. about how you stepped all over her and how you kind of enjoyed it, the way you enjoyed stepping on crisp leaves. tell me why your love only lasted a season, tell me why your love wasn’t strong enough to make it through a winter. tell me about how it’s spring now and you miss her laugh and the way flowers bloomed when you used to kiss her. tell me about how you saw her with somebody else and how you desperately wish you could have a summer with her again. tell me about the way you feel now that she doesn’t love you anymore.
