Turning his head as soon as he received a reply to his question, he was surprised someone even listened. Smile forming on his lips as his eyes met a beautiful woman. “Oh well, things like that should be for free. I’ve seen planets where no one needed to pay for food or something to drink.” he spoke. “But I guess Earth must be different then.” he spoke, completely forgetting about his previous thought. His attention now laid all on the beautiful femme. “You must’ve been here for a long time when you know, what are they called.. humans so well.” he pointed out the obvious to her. 

She wasn’t one of these humans, he could tell. But who was she? Getting greeted by such beauty wasn’t something he experienced every day. even if it was easy for him to fall in love and seduce the women he fell for. A habit he wished he could lay down. But his name was Eros for a reason and love was just his thing. “You’re not human, am I right? I can sense something in you.” he spoke, his smile slowly turning into a grin as his eyes were glued to her. 

                              SHE  COULDN’T  HELP  BUT  TO  SHIFT  HER  GAZE  FROM  THE  SHOP  AND  ONTO  HIM .  something  about  him  was  a  bit  familiar .  in  her  long  life ,  there  was  only  a  few  times  she felt  this  presence  .    doe  eyes  remained  on  him   as  she  folded  her  arms  over  her  chest .   “   i  agree  .  tragically ,  i  don’t  see  it  changing  .  i  know  two  other  planets  that  are  that  way .  xandar  and  hala .  “    eisa  replied .  she  recalled  how  those  two  planets  worked  considering  she  spent  so  long  on  xandar .   “  just  a  bit .  which --  makes  me  wonder  how  the  need  to  price  everything  even  began .  “   eisa  turned  towards  him ,  her  full  attention ,  now  on  him  as  his  seemed  to  focus  on  her  .  “   oh  no --  not  entirely  that  long .  i  guess  you  can  say  a  few  years .  about  five ,  actually .  “   the  goddess  chuckled .  “   i’m  still   in  that  learning stage .  things  are  different  here  than  where  i’m  from .  “  

At Eisa’s teasing inquiry, Druig’s gaze flickered upwards for a brief moment, as if considering. “I probably deserve that, if we’re being honest with each other.” Levity was still apparent in his eyes when they met hers once more. It had been too long in his mind, as well; however, the fact that he departed from the sanctuary he’d created to the extent that he did since their acquaintance following her arrival on Earth was still novel. Druig had found himself curious in regards to Eisa — a feeling that was no longer sparked by her circumstances or Muspelheim, but simply by her.

“But you may ask.” As he closed the remaining space between them, he withdrew a bracelet, featuring what appeared to be red and black beads inlaid in silver, from the pocket of his leather jacket. “They’re huayruro seeds, from some of the tallest trees in the Peruvian rainforest. For almost as long as I’ve been on Earth, the people have believed that they bring happiness to whoever wears them, and that they ward off negative energy.” Evocations of such history always reminded him of why he had come to care for humanity as he did. “Some of the humans at the compound were collecting them to make jewelry, and I realized that I never showed them to you while you were there.” Extending his free hand, Druig tilted his head towards her wrist. “May I?”

                            A  PLAYFUL  SMIRK  FORMED  AT  HER  LIPS .    it  was  hard  to  resist  keeping  a  serious  demeanor  around  him .   “  aren’t  we  always  honest  with  one  another ?  “  eisa  questioned ,  eyes  meeting  his .  perhaps  there  was  a  spark  of  admiration  that  were  in  her  own  and  that  could  be  easily  seen  by  anyone  paying  enough  attention .   since  coming  to  earth ,  she  experienced  things  she  never  thought  existed .  a  sense  of  humanity .  the  longing  to  feel  the  very  things  she  witnessed  with  her  own  eyes .   since  meeting  druig ,  her  curiosity  for  him  had  grown .  and  moments  like  this ,  she  found  herself  a  bit  flustered  in  his  presence .   of  course  who  wouldn’t  be  when  the  eternals  were  such  powerful  and  brilliant  beings  .
