So how do you all, the most avid, consistent user of Tumblr, feel about them taking down all the adult content? It wasn’t what brought me to the site initially; I originally joined in 2011, but barely thought to log in. I eventually forgot that password 😅. And every so often I make a new account to come on… And then forget again, and I repeated this cycle until maybe 2016. In that time, I can’t say I’ve really been that into to the site to check out all it has to offer. The general consensus I understood was that the adult stuff is what BROUGHT people to Tumblr. So, it leaves me wondering… How will it affect the community, my friends, social media in general, and anyone who felt that even if they didn’t jump to that content, were chill and comfortable to be like, the fact that it was accepted separated Tumblr from Facebook and every other social space.
