This is somewhat a photographic catalog of how I created my SketchBook... It's not the best but when you don't want to waste more than 10 to 20, 30 possibly $40 on a SketchBook sometimes you're better off making it yourself. I was able to get a giant stack of printer paper very cheap and I divided in half (the stack). The actual stack of printer paper was 500 sheets of paper I ended up dividing it in half, so I ended up keeping 250 and I gave the other 250 to my Dad. Then I counted the sheets that I had and started dividing them into 10 signatures, each one having five sheets of paper folded, ending out in a equivalent of 100 sheets per book. I was able to get out roughly five books. Then I kind of grabbed some cardboard measured it out was able to make the back and the front cover. I grabbed some tools made some holes marked where I wanted all the holes in the back of the spine and started puncturing. Finished off then I started sewing all of them together you can look up online or on YouTube on how to sew together a book. I used basically some sewing thread a needle and scissors. Finished doing all the sewing got everything together. Then I added a spined, grab some cardboard cut it out to the size, I added some hot glue to keep it in place, then I grab some fabric cut it to size and glued it all together. I placed it somewhere that would not stick the surface that's possibly would or an area that you don't mind possibly ruining with glue. Put something heavy on it I placed the book added some weights and let it dry until the next day. Recommendations don't add too much glue.
