okay so obviously everything by @festivating aka haline! i assume you know this already ;) but attrition is probably my favorite gelphie fic ever so. if you haven't read it yet... please do.
also everything by @blackseablacksky aka queenofmarigolds! i especially love the professors au and the inn au (currently ongoing but weekly updates and it is SO SO GOOD if you haven't read it please read it immediately)
also a part of the employed gelphie cinematic universe (the egcu if you will) is my friend @galindafi3d aka queenhecuba's lawyer au which just started, and it is so, so good galinda makes me insane!
everything by @episode5s aka cinnamonfiglatte is also a classic, the milf au was just completed and i adore it!
if you haven't dropped everything and read both the noir au and the brighter days au by @uisceb .... please do so immediately. their writing makes me literally speechless, it's so, so funny, every time the email pops up that one of these have updated i freak out. i have literally ended phone calls to go read the chapter. god i cannot wax poetic enough about this person's writing it makes me mush in the brain to think about. the brighter days au is incredibly angsty, but SO worth it imo.
another fic that makes me mush in the brain is the titanic au by direwoff aka @perigrin which is. jesus christ. PLEASE read it this elphaba is one of the most charming motherfuckers the world has ever seen, galinda makes me want to gnaw through bone, the prose is gorgeous and it's so immersive and thoughtful arghdjgh (that's the sound of me me drowning in the arctic), i await every new chapter with so much joy in my heart.
i also love @lamombey's fics, i am currently following the cold war berlin au and the hustle is completed! lamombey is the master of gelphie sexual tension to me and i also love her dialogue
oh gosh it is so many AU's! some more canon-ish fics that i have read recently and enjoyed greatly include accidentally in love by onefrightenedwriterperson (idk if they're on tumblr and i am realizing that this is also an AU sorry) as well as the ongoing exposure therapy by @thescullyphile
also to go waaay back there is the narrative strain by thenoblearduenna... truly rewired my brain when i was but a babe. i have not reread it in years, but it is so angsty and i cried so hard that someone came into my room to check on me because they heard me through the door. and it's truly a gelphie classic! but very, very angsty.
