LICD doesn't have a release date. I believe they are trying to bring it to festivals this year where they hope to sell it to a distributor. But as much as I wish this wasn’t the case, there’s always a possibility it doesn’t find a buyer to give it a theatrical release after the festivals. Some films shown at even the most prestigious festivals never find distribution. It’s a depressing thing about the indie film industry. Fingers crossed LICD will!

When I said it seemed like he’s anticipating a was anticipating something even bigger, I didn’t mean to minimize the Luca part! I expressed myself badly. It would be great & move him forward for sure. The show is huge. But to me all the signs taken together suggest something that would be an even bigger career shift, maybe in addition to HR. If it is Luca as written & no 2nd role, that’s still exciting!

Jacob said there will be more hockey in season 2. Edvin should also be present when Ilya's team has a game even if the scene is about other characters.

Also since the last book (still being written) and which will be in S3 was originally a Luca book, he may get a more important storyline in that season. And that could be a consideration.

I don’t want to police anyone but I do find it a bit disappointing that people think if he was cast in HR that it wouldn’t be big enough for him to be excited about. It’s literally one of the biggest shows currently, it’s all people have been talking about for 6 months.

Okay, idk if it's just wishful thinking from my part bc I personally am not a fan of hr plus the fact that Id really want his next project to be a bigger role than another 5 minute one, but I'm still not convinced about a HR casting. I think him liking the hr posts could be a combination of him wanting to be a menace, him being a hr fan and maybe him supporting Jacob (if he's being in talks for another Jacob project)

With his new HR like, it really does seem to be indicating he’ll be in it. I’m still wondering if there is a second project in the pipeline or the if Luca part has been rewritten. The amount of excitement & anticipation he is showing seems like too much for such a minor side role even in a big show, given that he’s already done HG. If he is in MCU, secrecy is much more serious. They want to control all their reveals. HR seems to be teasing casting rumors on purpose to build hype.

I can’t find where he said it, but it was just a quick little comment where he was asked about shows he was watching and he mentioned “Beef.”
