I don’t want to police anyone but I do find it a bit disappointing that people think if he was cast in HR that it wouldn’t be big enough for him to be excited about. It’s literally one of the biggest shows currently, it’s all people have been talking about for 6 months.

Okay, idk if it's just wishful thinking from my part bc I personally am not a fan of hr plus the fact that Id really want his next project to be a bigger role than another 5 minute one, but I'm still not convinced about a HR casting. I think him liking the hr posts could be a combination of him wanting to be a menace, him being a hr fan and maybe him supporting Jacob (if he's being in talks for another Jacob project)

With his new HR like, it really does seem to be indicating he’ll be in it. I’m still wondering if there is a second project in the pipeline or the if Luca part has been rewritten. The amount of excitement & anticipation he is showing seems like too much for such a minor side role even in a big show, given that he’s already done HG. If he is in MCU, secrecy is much more serious. They want to control all their reveals. HR seems to be teasing casting rumors on purpose to build hype.

I can’t find where he said it, but it was just a quick little comment where he was asked about shows he was watching and he mentioned “Beef.”

A new X-men movie kicking off a reboot of the franchise is in pre-production, expected to start filming this winter. It’s supposed to be a new young cast. A lot of people expect them to be announced at Comic Con in July. Some people speculate they will also appear in Secret Wars, but maybe just at the end or something. The director & the writer also did “Beef,” which Edvin cited as a favorite show recently so if he is in it, he’ll probably like the team!

Doomsday / Secret Wars / new X-men movie to appear or be revealed at San Diego Comic Con this July// anon is there possibly a few marvel projects in the works ? It’s just the hr clues sound pretty solid but the mua follow is highly suspect too . I was thinking Edvin could do hr in August then do marvel later.

I keep coming back to that MUA’s group of follows: Tom Holland, James Marsden, Odessa A’Zion, Edvin in succession. She’s done makeup for stars at Comic Con panels before & a lot of people expect some cast from Doomsday / Secret Wars / new X-men movie to appear or be revealed at San Diego Comic Con this July. Why did this Hollywood MUA suddenly follow that group? None are LA-based.

I also found it a little odd. The tension doesn’t always have to come from coming out or facing homophobia. But she wrote a whole letter explaining why she abandoned the solo Luca book project she had previously announced, and that’s the gist of what she said. I guess, in talking with Jacob about the show, she could have reconsidered but doubt it from what she has been saying about Unrivalled.

Rachel Reid said she didn’t feel a Luca romance was workable. She thought there was no conflict that could make it interesting, and that there would be too many gay couples in the same league. She also thought that for him to be meeting a true love, he’d have to age up but didn’t think an older version of him would be a compelling character. In these stories, the only supporting characters who get major time are the secondary couples

The book is still being written, but a big part of it is already done (it will be released June next year) and I think the author had to give the showrunners at least the general outline, so they could decide how much of the existing books to adapt in S2. They have the actors on a 3 season contract for the moment.
