San Diego Comic Con is this weekend. While I know all signs point to Edvin as Luca in Heated Rivalry, I still think he could have landed an MCU role (a “legend to be” in the words of one his friends), particularly Iceman (“Cool Typ ?” in the words of another). He’d be a perfect young gay Iceman. He’s seems to have something cooking in London, and Marvel UK is doing both Secret Wars and Jake Schreier’s X-men movie. He went to Sadie’s play…but interestingly didn’t post about it. He could be in both HR & Marvel. So I am still going to be paying attention on Saturday! Probably delusional but you never know, and I just want to say it here it case it turns out to be true :)

If I Had to guess, I’d say Jacob contacted Edvin about HR (or Alexander, if it unexpectedly turns out to be that) rather than CAA getting him the read. Jacob saw YR and strongly complimented the acting. Edvin was on his radar already. And Jacob didn’t follow a whole bunch of actors at that time, only Edvin and Noah. And since then, he is liking all Edvin’s posts. Edvin likely got whatever offer was on the table.

Idk where I read it, but someone said that Edvin and jacob have the same agent at caa. Could someone confirm this?

Also, Edvin is represented by CAA in the US, the same agency as Hudson, Connor, and Jacob. CAA is known for connecting its clients to the same projects, especially successful ones

Regarding Edvin and season 2 of Heated Rivalry, here is the take of a bookstan, someone who has been a fan of the books since they were first released.

Edvin liked Hudson's latest post, without even following him. Up until now I've been delulu and have been hoping that the project he's training for is a bigger role than Luca in HR, but ig I'll have to hop onto the HR train now as well. I'm just scared of how the fan experience will be for us Edvin fans 😭 I hope they've made Lucas roll bigger in the show than it was in the book at least

Me too! But I think it’s unrealistic, the protagonists are in their late twenties, I think Edvin is too young. // Felix ( male lead) is younger than everyone else . Sophie’s character ( Lucy) falls in love with her best friend’s little brother. Also there is multiple time lines . It spans 5 years from Lucy being 24 to 30. So Felix at some point has to be pretty young . The book also never states how old he is
