I had an idea, and I have no clue if it's possible - What about a mod that adds a certain percentage chance of a sim rejecting another sim for proposal/abandoning them at the altar when they do the specific interaction? I find that if sims have 100/100 relationship, even romance sims, they won't ever reject them, and I think it'd be a cool random event for it to happen to any sim, regardless of relationship or asp! Thoughts?

It is possible yes, and actually rather simple, as usual I made it tunable as well: SFSÂ / Dropbox

The most obvious flaw with this random chance idea is that you could try proposing again right away to get a different outcome; This is why thereâs a controller and a token. I made these to act as a sort of cooldown that lasts 3 days by default, if your proposal fails because of this mod and you try to propose again to the same person within that cooldown they will reject you again. Chances are aspiration dependent. Tune a chance to -1 to guarantee acceptance.
All of the chances and the duration of the cooldown are tunable in âld_RejectMarriage.packageâ for get married interactions and in âld_RejectPropose.packageâ for engagement interactions. You can also choose not to include one of these two packages in case you want the mod only to affect marriages or engagements.

11/19/2020:Â Fixed broken remember feature and added a flavor tuned for family Sims to guarantee success. Also made Family aspiration take priority over any other.
