Every NEET aspirant is faced with this question at the time of beginning his or her preparations for the NEET exam. This has been a popular question asked on every discussion forum, as to whether the NCERT books are enough. The short answer to this is a NO. But the long answer requires highlighting the merits of the NCERT books and need for adopting strategies to score better marks in NEET exams.

A set of specific rules which apply to a number to check whether the given number is divisible by a particular number or not is known in math as divisibility rules. For numbers from 2 to 20, there are some known divisibility tests. Without performing long division, it helps us to find the multiple and factors of numbers. By applying divisibility rules, an individual can mentally check if a number is divisible by another number or not. Let us go in to a little more detail on this topic.

Let’s first understand some basic terms. Traditionally, a cylinder was a three-dimensional solid, one of the most fundamental curvilinear geometric forms. It is an idealised representation of a solid physical tin can with top and bottom lids. Geometrically, it resembles a prism with a circle as its basis. This conventional viewpoint is still used in introductory geometry studies, but the advanced mathematical viewpoint has changed to the infinite curved surface, which is how a cylinder is now described in many current disciplines of geometry and topology. A cylindrical surface is made up of all the points on all the lines that are parallel to a given line and pass through a set plane curve in a plane that is not parallel to the given line. An element of the cylindrical surface is any line in this family of parallel lines. In kinematics, a cylindrical surface is that surface sketched out by a line, called the generatrix, that moves parallel to itself and always passes through the directrix given a plane curve called the directrix. Any location of the generatrix is a component of the cylindrical surface.

When two lines intersect at a point angles are formed. An angle is known as the measure of the opening between these two lines. The symbol is used to denote an angle. Radians and angles are usually used to measure angles, and it is a measure of circularity and rotation. We use angles in our day-to-day life. For designing road, buildings, sports facilities, etc. angles are used by architects and engineers. For example, have you ever observed a game of football? you see the massive rectangular field right, the corners where the point at which the lines intersect is what forms an angle.

Let us start with the definition of an atom. An atom is the smallest unit of ordinary matter which constitutes a chemical element. All solid, liquid, gas and plasma compose atoms that are ionizing or neutral.

Before we look at the process of alkene hydration, let’s look at how alkenes behave and what qualities they have. An alkene is a hydrocarbon with a carbon–carbon double bond in chemistry. Alkene is frequently used interchangeably with olefin, which refers to any hydrocarbon with one or more double bonds. Monoalkenes are divided into two categories: terminal and internal. Terminal alkenes, also known as -olefins, are more efficient. However, the IUPAC recommends utilizing the term “alkene” only for acyclic hydrocarbons with one double bond; alkadiene, alkatriene, etc., or polyene for acyclic hydrocarbons with two or more double bonds; cycloalkene, cycloalkadiene, etc., for cyclic hydrocarbons; and “olefin” for all cyclic or acyclic hydrocarbons with one or more double.
