“Reuters found 10 significant changes that were made between the draft chapter on animal studies and the published version of IARC’s glyphosate assessment. In each case, a negative conclusion about glyphosate leading to tumors was either deleted or replaced with a neutral or positive one. Reuters was unable to determine who made the changes.”
Take a look at this… Carey Gillam, who works for the anti GMO activist group US Right To Know(USRTK for short), who is subsequently sponsored by the Organic Consumers Association, wrote a book basically calling glyphosate the great evil of our time. A science communicator read the book and posted a review (taking her to task for factual inaccuracies as well as logical fallacies) on Amazon. That review was deleted. Amazon recently bought Whole Foods… who makes money selling organic food… that people buy because they think it’s healthier… due to misinformation spread by Gillam, USRTK, and the OCA. See where I’m going with this? Meanwhile, fellow OCA beneficiary Stacey Malkin, posted a glowing review despite Amazon’s policy on calling out conflict of interest in reviews. So think about this the next time you order from Amazon or go to Whole Foods because they price dumped produce for less than competitors can even buy wholesale. Edible Intelligence

A regular 3-Way from Skyline has roughly 800 calories. Based on the information from Skyline’s menu pic, roughly how many total calories come from the shredded cheese?
Get the facts or realize we don’t have the facts before you run away in fear. Remember: negative news stories, ESPECIALLY negative news stories about food, tend to get sensationalized.
Since 3 is less than 4, 1/3 is less than 1/4, right? [sigh] Unfortunately, that’s the mindset of people who have disregarded 1/3 pound burgers for 1/4 pound burgers at the same price.
Read if you like, make fun of my typos if you must…
